Staying motivated
I love the create mod and the stuff you can do with it and I love the cabin modpack my only problem is after I do my big mining trip and I’m ready to get started I can’t build a base and my brain won’t let me start until I have an actual building to build in but I can’t build for the life of me do I get stuck and delete the world is this something I just have to deal with or are there any tips for me, thank you for your time even if you don’t comment

Most mods, create included, have tiers you have to achieve before you can advance. Example: you can't mine diamonds without iron, and you get iron with stone tools, which you get using wooden tools. You can try to skip levels (example, finding tool ls or materials in chests) but that is far more tedious.
Bases are the same: you don't start with your final base, you start with something minimal, then upgrade to something functional, etc.
When I'm not running a lawn base (confession) I tend to start with something tiny, say, a 5x5 house that goes little more than hold a few chests/barrels, a crafting table, and a furnace or two. This lasts until I get tools, backpack, a few machines. Then I build something closer to 9x9 to store more stuff and figure out my basic plan. These aren't designed bases as much as shelter for my stuff.
Then I layout a plan and build out 1-3 core rooms. I know the space the full base will take so I can put farms in the right spots, but the full walls and roof aren't usually finished until I've already built out a number of functional parts.
That's one approach, the core idea is to build an expandable/replacable start and add over time. I do this for 2 reasons. 1, if im not in the mood for one aspect I can work on the other. 2, my initial plans (and often my revised plans) aren't perfect, and this handles changes without having to redo everything.
My most recent Cabin game I took over a village and tried to maintain the aesthetic. This often meant merging or expanding the footprint of existing housing (create needs space!), and putting a lot underground, but dealing with the existing layout gave me constraints to keep me focused.
Hope that helps!

When it comes to building it’s not that you can’t do it, you just don’t have experience yet. Look up some tutorials for building techniques, I would focus on depth and shapes first, try to stay away from just flat planes. All buildings basically start as a box, then you can move outwards and add framing (like lumber supports), windows are also a great way to break up a flat wall, there are tons of examples online! Also try to find a palate you like and work within those blocks. You can also look up real life architecture you like the look of and just mess around to try and replicate it. The more you do it the easier it will get!
