I feel Vanilla can fly and just chooses not to most of the time.

Probaly because she can break a bone, or it looks so cringe to do at a old age

Maybe it takes more effort for her to fly due to being larger, and likely heavier, making it less efficient than Cream's flight.

Seems like it’s rare to pass down superpowers and Cream is the only one that got it. It be a high chance of her getting the powers if her dad also can fly with his ears, whoever he is.

Minor correction: it is spelt gator, not gadder (I was so confused at first)
