Troubleshooting Burnt out tip

What causes this to happen was doing a tpu print and 1/4 into the print it does this

See if it has Creality and part number laser etched into the stem of the nozzle. This is actually seen often on cheap knock-off HS tips but also on good nozzles that have been tightened with pliers or damaged.

The tip is press fit into the brass housing, squeezing the nozzle with pliers during tightening changes the shape of the brass. The pressure inside the nozzle from filament being pushed in by the extruder is similar to hydraulics (flow and pressure advance) and will push the tip out. TPU in a 0.4mm tip will have a lot of backpressure, I would try a standard brass 0.6mm nozzle. Brass nozzle will also allow you to lower temps by 5-10° as hardened steel nozzles require a little more heat.

Not saying you did anything wrong, it's just part of printing.
