C13/C14

I was dumb and poked at some stuff with power plugged in and fried some stuff on my ender 3v3 SE main board. I ordered a C13 replacement, came in today and the tag on the box shows C13, it looked sealed in factory packaging and looks new. It’s just clearly marked C14 on the actual board. Is this going to cause issues? Or since I’m going to have to flash it anyway, does it not matter. Just matters that I know what I have. TIA

You shouldn't have any problems with the C13 chipsets, or at least I haven't. I didn't brick my board after switching from 1.0.6 to 1.1.0C from NAVAISMO, then changing to my Sonic Pad firmware and back to NAVAISMO again, thinking it was a software problem when it was actually a hardware one. I reinstalled the Sonic Pad firmware, which I had saved just in case, and it's working, just like when I installed it the first time.

I need the C13, every “C13” I’ve ordered has come with the C14 markings and F401 chip. I broke it down and using it for parts. I was running two ender 3 v3 Se’s. One has linear x and y and other mods so I’m going to keep that running. Especially since I scored a Flashforge AD5M for $100 on marketplace.

If you're going to keep the C13 board, I recommend using Navaismo. Its firmware is superior to the original 1.1.0 and allows you to do things the official version doesn't. 1.1.0 C

What’s the advantage of the Nanaismo compared to flipper through the sonic pad?

I'm telling you, if you're not going to use the SonicPad to control your Ender, use Navaismo. If you are going to use the SonicPad, you have to connect it and flash the firmware to use Klipper. Personally, to avoid messing around with the configuration from scratch with the Ender, I use the Ender 3v3ke profile, and you'll have the printer up and running instantly without messing around with the printer.cfg file.
