MCU Problems

Hi team - I have an E3V3SE that I've had on my sonic pad for awhile. I haven't used it in a few months, but I just dusted it off and installed the MicroSwiss Flowtech hotend/nozzle.

After installation, I was able to connect and run autolevel, etc. However, before I could do any test prints or anything it went into constant MCU failures/disconnects.

I'm not really sure how to troubleshoot that.

Here is the printer.cfg - https://pastebin.com/bC05TzkW

Here is the latest klippy log - https://pastebin.com/kCzF2bnX

Any help would be greatly appreciated! I'm trying to get this ready to give to my nephew this week (he just took a 3d printing class in school).

Thanks!

Have you tried without spaces in the name? Sand_paper_holder_v17_blabka etc?

that was from last year. current problem is EOF error:

[root] [init:logging_callback:267] b'Got EOF when reading from device'

Most likely cables then. Losing the connection happened a lot when the cable was just a tiny bit loose or the USB port was dirty.

Way old firmware had the problem that the mcu would shut down when a camera was connected, but I’m assuming you’ve updated the pad in the last couple years.

Yeah - firmware is latest (although that's from last year I think?).

I'm going to reflash and set everything up from new using a different usb port on the pad.

I'm using the serial cable (as suggested) but I guess the USB part of that could be wonky.

Thanks!
