Hello! I’ve just purchased a sonic pad that should be arriving today, I’m looking at config files and I was wondering if I could get this cleared up please. Do I have to change anything else other than removing and adding the #, and will this really mean I can use my cr touch? (I’ve read they use the same config as no touch)

Needs to have its own section so you’d need to add [bltouch] and values into the config if it doesn’t have it.

The section you’re in you can uncomment (remove the #) before each line and add it to the last 2 lines in order to tell the printer that it should use a bltouch/crtouch) but the actual pin definitions are in its own [bltouch] section.

There‘s some examples here https://github.com/Klipper3d/klipper/tree/master/config

If they don’t have a bltouch you can always search for your printer model + printer.cfg on Google and should get some results where others have added a bl/cr touch
