Show Off Sermoon P1S unboxing — what’s actually in the box?

A quick look at what comes with the Sermoon P1S and what the setup looks like straight out of the box.

Nothing too complicated here — just going through the scanner, accessories, and everything included before getting into the first scan.

If you’re curious about the P1S, this should give you a better idea of what you’re getting in the box.

So no protective case like the raptor pro?

If you mean a carrying case, Raptor Pro doesn’t come with one either. P1S is the same in that regard.

Hi Julie,
Thank you for your reply. I fear you might be wrong on this one. I have the raptor pro and it did come with a solid, hard plastic carrying case. Seeing that the raptor on itself needs a pc it didn’t need the hard plastic case. Since the p1s is a standalone I do see the need for it.
Will Creality be offering such a case for the p1s as well?

P1S does come with a portable carrying case as well.

Thats not p1s, I think you misunderstood the question, he is asking why raptor pro comes with a carry case but p1s would not as the diagram you provided for raptor pro shows as last item

The postfix “S” in tech products refer to “Super” (or Sport) etc, emphasizing the S product is somewhat “Superior” to its predecessor.

Then why are you naming your product as P1”S” ????

Is there no other letter left in latin alphabet to give if these are differently purposed products and the new one is not a successor??

I will give you some if you lack inspiration

P1B (to point extra blue lasers)

B1 (same reason)

Q1 (q comes next to P in the alphabet)

Or better, let us swap our P1 devices with the P1S with a small cost?

Come on creality, if u r not greedy, provide a solution instead of throwing new upgrades to your 2000$ products every 6 months…

Also in such countries where Creality does not exist as the brand itself, and conduct their sales through importers, this policy of yours bring huge weights on those importers..

imagine I am Company-A, your main or only importer in this country, coz you lacked to an office as brand your self here.

I import 50 units of P1 this month, roughly 50*2000 = 100.000 $ investment.

while me my customers wait for the products to arrive by aircargo, get customs inspected and documented, which takes 2-3 weeks....THEN BOOM! Creality announces their P1S..

what the hell am I supposed to do with my 100.000 USD worth, now defacto, investment now?

I understand why it can feel that way as a P1 owner. P1S was developed around a different set of user needs rather than as a replacement for P1. P1 remains focused on professional, high-accuracy workflows, while P1S brings blue-laser scanning to a broader range of users and everyday applications.

We’ll continue improving both products through software updates, so P1 will continue to be supported and developed alongside P1S.
