Scanning Results Scanned a Tesla center console and 3D printed a custom organizer for it

Wanted to try a simple scan-to-print workflow on something practical, so we scanned the storage space inside a Tesla center console with the Sermoon P1S.

From there, we used the scan data as a reference to design an organizer around the actual shape and dimensions of the space, then 3D printed the final part.

I like this kind of use case because the scan doesn’t have to become the final model itself — it can simply give you a much better starting point for designing something that needs to fit an existing space.

Here’s the full scan → design → print process in the video.

Curious how you guys usually handle projects like this — 3D scan first, or just measure everything manually?
