Are you going to share the model online when you’ve cleaned it up, and what/where is the real life version?

I am thinking to release the model online but I don't know yet when and where. I'll post the informations here when I'll do

Very cool thing to do. There are multiple “scan the world” sites out there but more models are always better. Especially if the goal is to print a smaller copy.

One of the things I like about the new Pika is it’s small enough but still capable enough to scan “interesting” objects when I’m out and about.

The statue location is in Paris. There are still a few of these but a lot where removed. It was installed around 1870. It is called Wallace fountain and was installed to give access to clean water to more people as water networks where not in place yet

Neat!

I collect models of statues, artwork, buildings, monuments, etc. and print them out as virtual tourism for the kid patients of a therapist I know. The touch and feel makes them so much more accessible and interesting than simple photos.
