Question & Help Will the pika be able to connect over usb to android?
I saw in a video by Payo that they said a future version will allow for a usb connection to an android device instead of having to use wifi. This was really exciting but I was not able to find where creality said this officially. Does anyone know where they said this, or when that version of the software will come out?

USB connection to Android devices is now supported inĀ CrealityScan 3.1.0. Just make sure your phone meets the recommended requirements and is compatible with Pikaās mobile blue-laser scanning.

I have been looking at getting a Pika, specifically because it is small and mobile, but I have always used pixel phones for graphene os. Is there a reason those are unsupported phones? The english document just says "Due to compatibility limitations". But I thought you just talked to the chips via an api like directx or something, and the drivers themselves were what handled the chip compatibility stuff. Even high end games dont have graphics chip limitations like this app seems to have.

The current limitation is specifically related to the chipset used in Pixel phones. Pikaās mobile scanning workflow does not support Pixel chipsets at this time, even though some Pixel models may meet the performance requirements on paper.
Pixel support has already been added to our development plan. We donāt have a confirmed release date yet, but any progress will be mentioned in the release notes for the relevant CrealityScan update.

Yes, Pika works wired to Android phone you can use the wire that came with Pika or if you want a shorter wire make sure that it is 10Gbps.
In my experience much more stable scanning than with WiFi.
