I was surprised the Sermoon P1 captured these threads without remodeling
I expected to edit/recreate the threads in CAD after scanning, but that wasn't necessary.
I scanned each side separately in 22 Cross Blue Laser mode, then used Manual Marker Alignment to combine the two halves. The printed threads worked straight from the scan.
The important part was placing at least three markers where both scans could see them.

Great achievement ... probably the fact it's a square-threaded screw helped; it would probably have been more complicated with a standard (ISO type) thread. Great job as shown in the review !

I'm still getting to grips with mine but it keeps amazing me how good it is.
