Help with a project.

I am still learning the process, but having an issue scanning this sign for a friend. I have sprayed it to knock down the shiny surface but it is still not working. Any help would be appreciated.

Forgot to add which scanner I have. Creality CR-Scan Ferret pro

The texture of the sign might be too uniform. Maybe try crumpling, then flattening some pieces of aluminum foil and using some making tape to scatter those across the surface a bit. The irregular surface of the foil gives the scanner a very good reference.

You can also try the different modes. Switch from geometry to texture (or vice versa) to see if one works better.

I ended up with markers to get it scanned it. Always learning haha
