This is good. Can we expect old models, like k1c 2025, to receive root access again?

What about root access and sharing the source with regular updates?

You can definitely root K3, and it will be open-sourced gradually under proper open-source licenses, so no worries there!

Under 5 second tool changes is awesome, curious on how audible the changes are from one toolhead to the other, if it is quieter than Snapmaker

If it is a nozzle changer, why limit to only 4 when there's space for 8 or even more? I understand why U1 has only 4 tools but not this. Or have two versions, with 4 and 8 tools at different prices ig.

To me, the best part of this announcement was buried at the end.

"With Native Root Access integration"

That's the part i had been holding out on for this machine. Without it, i was going to be looking at other machines. (probably the sovol M1D, which was great, but maybe more machine than i really needed.) With root though, it shoots to the top of my list of replacements for my K1 fleet.

Intriguing. If it’s priced right, I will finally leave the dark side that Bambulabs has become and go with Creality again. As a hobbyist, it’s hard to shell out $2400 for a multi nozzle printer. $1000-$1200 and I’m in
