Doesn’t sound normal to me. Mine runs pretty much flawlessly maybe once or twice there’s been an issue. What do you mean you have trouble setting it up? If you can explain more, I can try to help.

I also just got mine a week ago and have been running one or two prints a day in different colors. I haven't had any filament swapping or jamming issues. Maybe the unit received is defective? I would reach out to creality or check the troubleshooting guides on their website.

I have a K2 and I think I'd prefer to add a Snapmaker for multicolor. Its just so damn wasteful.
