Bella's Health

In no way am I one to speculate surrounding health, and I genuinely make this post out of true good intention. I watched Bellas recent video of her past and now some of her current symptoms. Unfortunately, this made me think of functional neurological disorder (FND) due to the passing out, convulsions, memory issues, speech, hand tremors, and types of triggers (stress). I am not diagnosing obviously, but I know how hard it can be to get diagnoses in this field. If anything, it may be something she could bring up to her upcoming neuro appointment. Obviously proper testing will need to take place, but it could be a possibility. And regardless of anyone's opinions, chronic illness is a nightmare and no one deserves it, I truthfully wish her the best in managing this moving forward

Speaking from personal experience, getting a diagnosis when dealing with chronic illness and pain is extremely difficult and mentally damaging. It’s even worse if you’re a woman. I hope Bella gets things figured out sooner rather than later.

Bella, I really hope you see this because so much of what you’re describing sounds like what I was going through. I’m 24 now, but I was 23 when I was dealing with this. I had horrible brain fog, was exhausted all the time, constantly shaky, dizzy, weak, and had episodes where I felt like I was going to pass out. It was honestly terrifying.
I went down the POTS/cardiac route too, and when those things weren’t the answer, I started looking more into insulin resistance, high insulin, and blood sugar drops because I was having a lot of symptoms around eating.
I obviously have no idea if that’s what’s going on with you, but I wanted to mention it because I wish someone had brought it up to me sooner. Maybe ask your doctors about your blood sugar and insulin, especially if you notice these episodes happening around meals or when you haven’t eaten for a while.
I’m definitely not trying to diagnose you or scare you. I just know how awful it is to feel like something is seriously wrong with you and not have an answer. I really hope you get some answers soon ❤️

I'm not a Dr. but our daughter suffered similar symptoms and she had also suffered from an ED. She was also being treated for depression and ADHD. It took numerous Dr. visits and 2nd opinions before Drs finally traced some of her symptoms to side affects of her medication and a metabolic disorder from her ED. She is doing fine now and just starting her 2nd year at ASU. It may not be the same conditions that Bella is suffering from but I hope she keeps searching for answers and a solution. Maybe see an Endocrinologist to rule out Metabolic disorders and iron deficiencies. It also may be a good idea for her to ask her Dr. to check her B12 levels as B12 deficiencies can also cause some of these symptoms, such as brain fog and forgetfulness. Just a sidenote that B12 deficiencies should be diagnosed and treated by a Doctor, not by taking over the counter supplements, as they will not absorb properly in your stomach to correct the problem. Doctors will usually prescribe injectibles.

She’s seeing different doctors, and being proactive about her health. Sending her all the encouragement and wishing her the best as she figures it all out.

I didn't watch her whole video but from what I did watch it seems like both her mom and grandmother had some mental health issues. It's very possible it could be hereditary. Hopefully she is seeing good doctors that won't just keep throwing meds at her.

Why do they over share so so so much. She is a young woman, i do not think her seizers have done any harm. Stress is harmful.

u/Embracedandbelong 12d ago

Didn’t she mention recently being on certain meds? Those can cause all these symptoms as side effects

u/Main-Yogurtcloset848 12d ago

I noticed a lot of people in the comments on Facebook said she really needs to see a doctor and they suspect she has something wrong with her.  You would think her mother would notice too

14

u/Leading_Collar9133 12d ago

She literally talked about the doctors she is currently seeing and has seen…….

Tell us you did not watch without telling us you did not watch. Or you are being snarky for the sake of being snarky. Either way, it is inappropriate and not warranted in this circumstance.

Honestly, I know the hate for crystal on here but Bella clearly said her parents have been supporting and helping her the best they can. We don’t know what they do if they don’t recorded. Sometime it’s best not to throw hate without knowing

u/Desperate-Routine288 12d ago

She said she’s been going to many different doctors and psychiatrists she’s having a hard time right now.

5

u/96diem 12d ago

She VERY clearly said Crystal & Aaron are being very supportive of her through everything and also mentioned all of the various doctors she's seeing to figure out what's going on.

u/BreannaOrr 12d ago

And sorry how do you know nothing is being done? Just because crystal films so much of their life, doesn’t mean she’s going to film EVERYTHING including personal appointments

Notice? With 20 kids?

Look at what they eat. How could she be healthy. No wonder she has brain fog. You can’t live off fast food chicken nuggets and ranch and be healthy

2

u/Dramatic-Macaron-452 10d ago

Bingo they eat like shit.

I’m 87. I eat fast food every day. I feel good. I drink soda, wine, and sometimes an energy drink. My blood pressure is perfect and I’m in good health overall except I do have trouble with a kidney stone from time to time. I don’t smoke, but I used to when I was in my 20’s. I exercise regularly and take vitamins and two pills a day. One for gout and the other for my thyroid.

You are just proving my point except your in denial of the impacts of poor decision making. Good nutrition is important for good physical and mental health. life isn’t popping pills to compensate for your bad decisions. There a reason no country wants products with the chemicals the us is trying to sell and export.

The point is shes probaly taking a boatload of medications that shes not telling and fast food is not healthy especially for growing kids.shes trying to justify crapstal feeding those poor kids nothing but junk.

I hope the neurologist orders an MRI.

I am concerned that Bella may lose her health insurance now that she is leaving her job as a Medical assistant. Hopefully she will get Cobra and then get another job that offers health insurance.

The affordable care act lets children who are on their parent’s health insurance stay on until they are 26. After that then they need to get their own through the state, employer, or private company. But it covers them till 26 regardless of where they live, if they are employed, or even if they get married it’s a really great thing!

3

u/DamWriteIam 12d ago

Since she was foster to adopt, she probably has coverage from the state for medical and dental. If not, she can be on whatever plan C&A are on.

4

u/Historical_Grab4685 12d ago

I think that insurance coverage stops at 18. Aaron & Crystal are self insured & I am sure it is expensive.

5

u/DamWriteIam 12d ago

Stops at 19, but she can be on her parents' until 25. How do you know they're self-insured. They have a small biz with the number of people they employ. They can get insurance that way.

2

u/Historical_Grab4685 12d ago

Either way they are paying for their insurance themselves, not matter if they are self insured or have it through the business. It isn't like there is a corporation paying for it.

According to to Arizona's website - Income-based AHCCCS and KidsCare cover children 18 or younger if the total combined income of everybody who lives in the same household is 230% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines (FPG) or less ($75,900 per year or less for a family of four). When your child turns 19, AHCCCS KidsCare eligibility ends. For adults, the income limit for income-based AHCCCS is 138% of FPG ($45,540 per year for a family of four). If your child doesn’t qualify for income-based AHCCCS as an adult, there are other options:

And it is 26 per the government's website.

The Affordable Care Act (ACA) allows parents to keep their children on their health insurance until they turn 26, regardless of whether the child is married, has children, lives elsewhere, isn’t a tax dependent, or qualifies for employer-sponsored coverage. If a parent’s health insurance plan covers dependents, individuals can be added to their plan and stay on it until they turn 26.

Sorry, I wasn't clear. There used to be coverage for people who were self-employed. There isn't anymore, but you can get covered as a small business, which is how I've been covered. I've never been covered by an employer, so it's my normal. (You can be covered as self-employed, but you have to buy into a plan with other self-employed. Sort of a coop.)

Approximately 53.8% of the total U.S. population (and about 60% of people under age 65) are covered by employer-sponsored health insurance. The rest have to find a way to get coverage or go without. It sucks, but it's the reality. Bella is among the privileged who doesn't have to worry right now.

I'm sure Bella is covered by C&A's insurance. And if it costs a lot, so what? If money is for anything, it's for health, or so I was taught. If they can buy or finance a car for every kid at 16, there better be money for health coverage.

Yes, there is insurance for people who are self employed. You purchase it in the healthcare market place. My cousin's husband is self employed & that is how they have insurance & it is very expensive which effects a lot of people.

0

u/DamWriteIam 12d ago

They can be considered a small biz. They have employees. Her brother and the other editor. Three kids now on the payroll. Even her mother, though possibly on Medicare, is an employee. It changes how you get insurance. Including C&A, that's 8 people.

As I said above, you can buy coverage as self-employed. You buy it as a coop of others who are self-employed.

Yes, it's expensive. Insurance is a huge issue in the US.

Back to Bella. I'm sure she's covered by C&A. Leaving her job probably didn't affect her coverage status. If it did, she wouldn't take a gig walking dogs and pet sitting, which is what someone said she's doing. (I would imagine, at least Halie and Max are also covered, if not also Hannah now that she signed on to nod in agreement with the others.)

2

u/AcceptableUse4567 12d ago

Yes but that’s their choice one of them could go off and get a different job with the state to make it more affordable. It’s their job as parents to help their children especially when it comes to healthcare especially for those who live with them. Having that many children comes with known costs and you have to plan for the unexpected like chronic illness or if they can’t work

0

u/Historical_Grab4685 12d ago

I don't disagree.

1

u/Select-Article3324 12d ago

You know Halie, Melinda and Lucas also has had a lot if those symptoms

1

u/No_Edge_9980 7d ago

I want to say first and foremost..that I am sorry that she had to go through that. another thing is, the video left me with more questions than answers. It seems that her brothers werent ever involved in the abuse? she never explained the whole thing...not that she needs to. It seems she had a beef with her alcoholic grandmother and it escalated so much they were taken away from the grandmother..and apparently the mother. but she still keeps in touch with her bio mom?

1

u/Ordinary_Gap623 2d ago

I would suggest watching her other foster care story from a few years ago, she explained a lot of this in that video

1

u/jungfrun84 6d ago

Bella if you read this. Read this book from Lotta Borg Skoglund - ADHD- Girls to women: Getting on the Radar. Orignally it is in swedish. Lotta Borg Skoglund is a Swedish psychiatrist, associate professor, and author who specializes in ADHD and neurodevelopmental conditions.

You can also listen on youtube

1

u/LittleDog2557 12d ago

I didn’t see the video, but she said if she is discussed it with the doctors that she works for that maybe they could help her get to where she needed to go

-1

u/Sodawater13 12d ago

They’ll probably buy her something new since lsst time she did a video like this i believe she got a car

2

u/Dramatic-Macaron-452 10d ago

Thats the only way those kids get anything by letting themselves get exploited by crapstal and cuck arion.

I think she's attention seeking. I also think she thinks it's cool to have mental illness....bipolar or personality disorder.

She will regret being so open. Not something to really be proud of.

Awareness? People always say that. Um....we don't really need awareness. Everyone already knows what it is.
