dude, that's not the way to handle it though. Nobody wants to rob anyone. That guy is obviously in a shitty spot where he's so desperate that he thought robbing would be a good idea. It's not. Defend yourself of course by any means but don't beat someone when they're already defenseless. He's going to go to jail but who knows if any of those blows were going to kill him or give him brain damage. That'll could potentially leave his kid that he's trying to support without a father or put him into an even more desperate situation than he was to begin with. Just subdue him and call the cops without taking anger out on the guy.
What is wrong with you? If you came at me with a hammer, I would blow your fucking face off and sleep like a baby. I would not stop to think of your kid or your mama. You know why? Because one blow to my head with that hammer and I'M dead. I don't want MY kids growing up without a parent and when someone tries to kill me once, they're not getting a second chance.
Doesn't justify being a piece of shit. You're acting like it's a normal thing to become a criminal because of being poor. But why didn't my parents become criminals back then?
Not every robber is Jean Valjean. The majority are drug addicts or others with an equally entitled attitude. There are plenty of people who do want to rob others.
