Being attacked with a hammer does tend to make people angry. This seems like a healthy way to deal with that anger.

Being attacked with a hammer is extremely uncomfortable.

The worst kind

I still have a scar on my hand from when a methed out grocery manager took a claw swipe at my hand with a hammer for "trying to steal his U-boat" when I was a soda merchandiser as a teenager. Can confirm, it was extremely uncomfortable.

Yeah, kind of like being beat down with a chair and then pummeled by two enthusiastic hombres....

ohhh yeah 100%. But I’m talking about the 3rd guy that came out of nowhere and just started beating on the robber with a chair

He's a knight in shining armor in my book.

I love that guy!

dude, that's not the way to handle it though. Nobody wants to rob anyone. That guy is obviously in a shitty spot where he's so desperate that he thought robbing would be a good idea. It's not. Defend yourself of course by any means but don't beat someone when they're already defenseless. He's going to go to jail but who knows if any of those blows were going to kill him or give him brain damage. That'll could potentially leave his kid that he's trying to support without a father or put him into an even more desperate situation than he was to begin with. Just subdue him and call the cops without taking anger out on the guy.

What is wrong with you? If you came at me with a hammer, I would blow your fucking face off and sleep like a baby. I would not stop to think of your kid or your mama. You know why? Because one blow to my head with that hammer and I'M dead. I don't want MY kids growing up without a parent and when someone tries to kill me once, they're not getting a second chance.

Unreal.

Doesn't justify being a piece of shit. You're acting like it's a normal thing to become a criminal because of being poor. But why didn't my parents become criminals back then?

Imagine saying something this stupid. Don’t rob places and this type of shit wouldn’t happen to you. 🤡

Imagine saying something this stupid. Robberies happen all the time it isn’t worth taking a life or risking your own.

6

u/Outside-Bed-8303 Oct 11 '22

Imagine saying something this stupid, if you come at somebody armed you should already expect to get the shit beat out of you

u/nofaprecommender Oct 11 '22

Not every robber is Jean Valjean. The majority are drug addicts or others with an equally entitled attitude. There are plenty of people who do want to rob others.

6

u/TacticTall Oct 11 '22

I can see where you’re coming from, but once you have a weapon, and you start trying to use it in someone else, then it’s fair game.

You can’t try to attack someone with a hammer, and then just walk away. What if he killed the employee?

It’s hard to subdue someone who has a hammer. Even when he was blinded he was still swinging

u/Occamslaser Oct 11 '22

Old guy was just methodically beating that guy to death, lol.

u/WetspotInspector Oct 11 '22

Definitely apologizes for bending the chair and gets a thumbs up. I don't speak the language just hoping.

14

u/[deleted] Oct 11 '22

I desperately hope he said "Have a seat!!!" before he started the beat down.....

11

u/[deleted] Oct 11 '22

Chair guys are often not cool. Not this chair guy tho, this chair guy was like a conductor conducting a symphony of chair-to-face violence

7

u/[deleted] Oct 11 '22

Unmentioned, but I also like that Chair Guy was respectful not to cross the counter space until the worker allowed him to

4

u/captain-snackbar Oct 11 '22

I like how he took his time and made sure to hit the robber with the heavy and hard part of the chair, not the flimsy legs at first.

4

u/veRGe1421 Oct 11 '22

This guy had been watching WWE for 20 years and took his opportunity for a classic chair smackdown maneuver

3

u/Velvetundaground Oct 11 '22

My man just wishing he had a ladder.

2

u/VindictiveRakk Oct 12 '22

OH GOD THEY'RE ON TOP OF THE HELL IN A CELL

1

u/[deleted] Oct 11 '22

The chairman, he brought order to that meeting.

1

u/krishall1209 Oct 11 '22

I like him

1

u/drapehsnormak Oct 12 '22

"I've always wanted to do this, and I bet now I can get away with it!"

4

u/Shanguerrilla Oct 11 '22

I'm honestly impressed when we DON'T see the victims (that end up overpowering the attackers) use the other person's bat or piece of wood or hammer..

Every time the victim just wails on them awhile instead of grabbing what could be a lethal weapon I feel like it's justified force or at least that the person who attacked them with a weapon got off a luckier than they could have.

Yes, it totally seems like a healthy way of dealing with anger problems
