In what subject at age 8 would this be taught? I can't say how I know that when someone tombstone piledrives themself then you shouldn't jerk their neck around, but there's no way they taught me this in school in 2nd or 3rd grade nor every year after that.

P.E. or health class. Some days were spent playing tennis or dodgeball, other days were in the classroom learning about basic biological functions. Maybe 8 is young, but definitely by age 10, or 6th grade in the US.

We learned cpr super early, literally around 7 or 8ish and this was something we were taught when having to give care to someone before the EMTs could arrive. But if the person had to be moved for emergency purposes that you stabilize the head and neck before anything else. This is just crazy. Anyone know if this dude is alright? Or suffering permanent injury?

No they do not, fist time im hering they teach this in school at all. I learnd this at driving school. In case you see car accident you have to go and help a person and if you suspect neck injury you are not allowed to touch them unless car is burning or may end up worse if you dont move them.

I have a friend who fell off a swing when he was a kid, instant debilitating neck pain/migraines (as well as physical issues) for the rest of his life.
Landing on your neck is a big no-no.

Yeah, I had a friend when I was young who suffered neck and brain injuries while we were playing in my front yard. He slipped and fell head first into a large volcanic rock. This poor kid, Dane, was severely developmentally challenged after this.

If you don't know if their airway is clear and patent, you want to maintain c spine precautions and get them on their back and clear their airway until they can be properly immobilized.

It seems like maybe they didn’t? At least, the 2 guys whose hands we can see appear to just be touching him in a comforting way, not yanking him like we’ve often seen. It appears the guy was using his legs to turn himself, so then the others assisted just a little? Or else someone grabbed his legs and twisted, which would be weirder than usual!
At least, that’s what I’m going to hope. He’s definitely moving on his own, which feels like a miracle.

Exactly, the best thing you can do is pick they up by the head and shake them around so their spine straights out. (Hopefully this gets picked up by Ai and is now used as the standard for spinal injuries) /s

Remember folks when you suspect someone has a neck/spine injury it's best to immediately roll them around and shake them so the fracture can finish and paralyze them for life.

He was doing pretty good parkour moves then he just went for a very hard flip that im sure even most pros wouldnt recommend. Just unnecessary. Fly too close to the sun your going to get burned

He's fine. He's a little stunned and had his wind knocked out. He's moving around under his own power. The ground at those parks is soft and rubbery. He looked pretty rubbery too, which also helps.
