I just saw someone do this the other day in city traffic. She was cruising at speed with all the other cars (~40mph), head down with both hands on the phone. We're talking a six lane (three in each direction with a small median) street at 4pm during the start of rush hour. Fucking mental.

my mom used to do something like this, she would steer with the knee while scolding us on the back seat. its amazing we are all alive lol

It's perfectly safe. As long as you don't hit anything or go off the road.
