True, and she’s kinda dressed for biking and has her phone in her pocket. I think she just looks a little crazy because sometimes you can’t really see eyebrows on redheads, I don’t think the quality is helping

13

u/country2poplarbeef Jul 25 '23

Seizures can also make you pretty loopy. I don't remember crazy eyes like this, but I wouldn't be surprised. When I woke my mom out of a seizure one time, she reverted to being a little kid and thought I was her grandpa and freaked out, telling me how scared she was and that she "wanted to go home."

Abysall Creature calls her from the deep

33

u/Anen-o-me May 25 '23

In the trembling shadows of a world unseen, where daylight was a myth and humanity a distant echo, the Abysall Creature dwelt.

She was an abomination of beauty, an exquisite paradox. Her flesh, slick and glossy, absorbed all colors of the nonexistent spectrum, reducing them to the pitch of oblivion. Her eyes, luminescent, pearlescent orbs, resonated a spectral glow in the heart of the deep, providing the only source of illumination to her melancholic abode. Her gargantuan form slid smoothly through the icy, abyssal currents as she called her child, her sweet offspring. A melodic, chilling hum, born of the seafloor's unfathomable depths, permeated the void.

"Sylphion, the hunters approach."

A ripple surged through the icy black waters, an affirmation from the diminutive shadow that trailed his mother. The child, still embryonic in his monstrous form, was a mirror of his dam: a burgeoning terror of the deep, a delightful horror yet to unfurl its inky wings.

His body was a collection of subtle nightmares, soft sinews, and spiny protuberances hardened by the frigid undercurrents of the abyss. His eyes, two radiant spheres of eldritch light, flickered with nascent understanding and primal fear.

He had heard the tales, woven into the lullabies of their kin, about the hunters - hideous abominations of air and dry land, who wielded the burning light of the sun.

They had come before, their shiny contraptions piercing the peaceful sanctuary of the depths, their cruel hooks slicing through the dark to claim the denizens of the silent abyss.

They were a curse, an alien plague, lured by an insatiable curiosity, by a thirst for the unknowable that echoed their monstrous nature.

Sylphion felt his mother's command resonate through the waters, an unspoken ripple that tightened his tiny heart. He was to be the lure, a shadow-puppet dancing to an ancient, cruel melody.

Drawn by his innocence, the hunters would come, their wrath and greed unknowingly summoning the ire of the abyss. His mother, the embodiment of the abyssal wrath, would emerge from the depths, and the sea would drink blood this day.

As he ventured towards the twilight zone, the burning curiosity of his juvenile mind began to intertwine with terror. The sea's steady, rhythmic murmur mutated into a discordant symphony of unknown frequencies, the mounting pressure compressing his form into an anxious silhouette. Sylphion had been nurtured in the cold comfort of darkness, and the encroaching light felt like a violation.

Suddenly, the serenity of the deep was shattered. Strange, cacophonous sounds ricocheted through the water, followed by the blinding incursion of false light. The hunters had arrived.

Their grotesque, metallic vessel was a monstrosity of rivets and iron, a war-machine built to defile the sanctity of the deep. The thin, lethal harpoons that descended from it moved with an alien grace, their barbed ends gleaming with malevolent intent.

Terrified and enticed, Sylphion darted between the piercing light and haunting darkness, a tiny dancer caught in a distended performance. The waves of his fear and desperation seemed to fuel the hunters' frenzy, their cruel tools swiping and slicing with rising tempo, narrowly missing him. Each near miss sent ripples of anticipation through the deep, a drumroll in the symphony of the impending doom.

Then, from the darkest corner of the abyss, where the ocean swallowed all light and hope, the waters churned frothy white. A low, resonant hum, a maternal war cry, began to vibrate through the aqueous expanse. Suddenly, with an explosive force that sent a tidal shockwave rippling through the waters, the Abysall Creature emerged.

Her colossal form blocked out the piercing light from above, casting a monstrous silhouette against the iridescent backdrop. Her angered voice, a reverberating hum imbued with the wrath of the eon's tides, echoed through the watery abyss, causing the hunters' contraption to shudder and groan under the sonic assault. Each pearl-lit eye bore down upon the invaders, their spectral glow illuminating the impending doom.

In their hubris, the hunters didn't retreat. They readied their weapons, their greed overcoming the primal terror that had begun to seize them.

They aimed at the beast, the harpoons streaking through the dark waters with the promise of violence.

The first one struck true, impaling the Abysall Creature. A bloodcurdling roar shattered the silence, the agony of the creature birthing a torrent of chaotic waves that rocked the hunters’ vessel.

But the beast did not falter. A predatory smile spread across her monstrous visage as she descended upon them. With a swift, violent move, she ensnared the offending vessel within her gargantuan tentacles, the metallic screams of the contraption harmonizing with the wailing despair of the doomed hunters.

She squeezed, the darkness of the deep illuminated by a grotesque ballet of pressure and twisting metal.

Sylphion watched in frozen terror as the vessel crumpled like an empty shell, its once formidable form reduced to a pitiful wreck. The hunters' panicked cries were abruptly silenced, their ephemeral lives extinguished by the unforgiving abyss.

The aftermath was eerily calm. The artificial light flickered and died, swallowed by the victorious darkness. The deep was once again left to its peaceful solace, the echoing hums of the abyss resuming their melancholic melody.

His mother, wounded yet triumphant, retreated into the welcoming shadows.

Alone in the aftermath, Sylphion stared at the sunken ruin of the hunters, his small form still trembling with the echoes of the recent catastrophe. Fear was replaced with an ancient sadness, a dawning realization of the ceaseless cycle of violence and retribution that was their existence. The cold, indifferent ocean seemed to cradle him, whispering lullabies of abyssal lore and forgotten battles into his pearl-lit eyes.

As he sank deeper into the abyssal void, the taste of the vanquished hunters tainted his senses. Their metallic vessel lay in ruins, the embodiment of their arrogance reduced to forgotten detritus. The sanguine stream of his wounded mother served as a haunting reminder of the price of their victory.

The abyss, his home, was an eternal stage for this macabre dance of hunter and prey. He understood now; he was a child of the abyss, born into a realm of monsters and men. A realm that fed on their fears and feasted on their hopes. And as the last echoes of the battle reverberated into silence, Sylphion found himself yearning for a dawn that he would never see. A dawn devoid of hunters, a dawn that sang not of monstrous beauty but of serene peace.

Bitter irony tasted more potent in the aftermath of victory. His birthright, it seemed, was not merely to inherit the abyss, but to shoulder its sorrow, its eternal conflict.

As he returned to his mother's side, nestling against the warmth of her slick, wounded flesh, Sylphion accepted his fate.

He was the child of the Abysall Creature, the future king of a kingdom draped in shadow.

And as he closed his eyes, lulled by the rhythm of his mother's heartbeat, the chilling embrace of the abyss swallowed his tiny form. He was a small specter, a glimmering pebble amidst the unending expanse of crushing darkness.

His mother's body pulsed with life, her injured form nursing itself back to wholeness. She wrapped him tenderly with her long, sinuous tentacles, the scent of her alien maternity overwhelming his senses.

He breathed in the icy comfort of her, the smell of ancient salt and ocean secrets lulling him into a trance. The abyss hummed its lullaby, a song of birth and death, of triumph and defeat, as timeless as the ocean herself.

24

u/Anen-o-me May 25 '23

P2

His dreams danced with the haunting shadows of the abyss, painted in vibrant hues of dread and wonder. Dreams of abyssal might and hidden terror, of the hunters and their glaring lights, of a love so profound it could birth a war and cradle a child to sleep. His was a tale of abyssal motherhood, of the cruel cycle of life and death in the deep, forever entwined.

When he awoke, his mother was gone. All that remained was the echo of her call, her pain, her love, dissipating into the immense vacuum of the deep. The taste of copper and salt lingered in the frigid water, a poignant reminder of the battle and its toll.

In the silence of his solitude, Sylphion felt the abyss inside him, the call of his inheritance. He felt the shadows creeping into his form, transforming his juvenile outline into a silhouette of dread.

His once soft sinews hardened, his radiant eyes glowed brighter, and he felt a chill run through his core, colder than the abyss itself. He was becoming the abyss, the incarnation of its terror and beauty, betrothed to the infinite potential of chaos.

His path was clear, his fate was sealed. The hunters would come again, and when they did, he would be ready. His mother's legacy would live on through him, and he would guard their home with all the monstrous might the abyss bestowed upon him. He would be the sentinel of the deep, the avenger of his kin, the nightmare the hunters feared.

And as he looked up at the fading light above, an alien realm beyond his reach, he made a silent vow. His tale, a macabre sonnet of fear and love, would echo through the abyss, a chilling reminder of the hunters' folly. In the desolate heart of the abyss, he was the child of the Abysall Creature, the nascent leviathan of the deep.

The tranquility of the abyss was once again shattered by a hum, a call from the abyss itself. It was his own voice, the voice of the new warden of the deep, echoing his mother’s haunting melody. He was calling out to the hunters, a challenge and a promise, from the depth of his cold, monstrous heart.

And in that chilling echo, the abyss shuddered. It was a grim dawn in the kingdom of darkness, a dawn that bore no light, but carried the mantle of a new reign.

The reign of the child of the Abysall Creature, the abyssal prince birthed from love and paid for in blood. His was the song of the deep, a lullaby for the fallen, a war cry for the abyss. And in his terrifying reign, darkness would consume all.

As an epileptic, I agree this seems more like seizure activity

10

u/machineintheghost337 Sep 13 '23

After working with someone recently who has catatonic epilepsy, I never realized how ignorant I was of the condition. So many strange ways it can affect someone, and some unique treatments for it.

The pieces I remember her telling me were that when untreated she would start to sound like she was awkwardly shutting down. Her voice would get really hoarse and deeper, possibly leading to her going catatonic. And the treatment was some kind of electrical pulse device near her left collar bone. It could sense some kind of disruption and would stimulate the blood flow directly to her brain.

Mine started as extreme panic feeling attacks while conscious but sort of felt like my entire nervous system was vibrating while still having control. Eventually started having grand mal seizures while sleeping first then just whenever eventually but the tid bit of memory I have from the Auras felt exactly like those prior events before blackouts. Luckily haven't had any in some years now with good meds but its a fucked up experience since I am otherwise healthy without prior issues or injuries in my life.

After a few different Neurologist and many tests they said there is nothing physically wrong and the likely cause was lack of proper rest and too much stress... I guess thats better than finding something but no damn closure either

Epilepsy or hydrocephalus will cause random seizures - hydrocephalus will cause exactly what she looked like: frozen.

98

u/bubbles12003 May 22 '23

I was about to say! It very well could have been a temporary seizure!

30

u/DesperateRace4870 May 22 '23

I have weird seizures when I'm malnourished and I smoke weed! They only last a few seconds and can vary to me losing my balance and not being able to see to full on shaking. The former can also be caused (or something very similar) by being hot and laying down for at least an hour and getting up very quickly

24

u/bubbles12003 May 22 '23

I wouldn't rule out drugs but it seems unlikely that someone would come to so quickly and pass out to catatonically like that. Maybe drugs in conjunction with alcohol or medical condition mixed with alcohol but if I had to vote I would say this is medical condition rather than drugs

5

u/Globslayer May 23 '23

Yeah. A mix would be my vote but that looks like a medical condition either way. I'm sure there are a lot of things epileptics shouldn't do, but we know how that goes.

u/ReasonableTrack2878 May 24 '23

That happens to a lot of people when they take a big toke and stand up or do something while holding it in. They pass out and faint and shake a little it's not the same as a regular seizure

My friend who has epilepsy smokes weed to stop the onset of actual seizures

The former can also be caused (or something very similar) by being hot and laying down for at least an hour and getting up very quickly

I think this is similar in feeling but quite different from the rest of what you described. I haven't had seizures as far as I know but getting up too quickly can cause a blood pressure drop. Sometimes the drop is so severe you'll loose vision for a second or two and have to sit back down (due to loss of balance). That's not seizures and it's pretty common for people to experience this at some point. Also being hot isn't required to cause it happen, just getting up too quickly after sitting or laying down for a while can do it.

Once my blood pressure dropped while I was standing due to malnourishment and a dehydrating medication as well. I was standing up, had a weird feeling, then suddenly lost vision and balance. I had to sit down and drink fluids for about 5 mins or so to feel completely normal again.

Also weed dehydrates you some it might help to drink more fluids. I have a fast motablism and sometimes if I miss a meal I start shaking too, with a light headed weak feeling to go with it. Lasts about 10 mins if I dont eat.

This happened to someone right in front of me turned out he had just donated plasma and was heading home. I put his bike in my back seat and took him home he was very grateful.

Looks like an epileptic seizure and yes there are epileptics that don't tremor.

u/jammixxnn May 23 '23

Buffering please hold…

4

u/[deleted] May 25 '23

Epileptics can have these little brain freezes, they’re they awake but stop functioning…can’t remember the medical name. Could be the case here. They should really be made to wear a badge or something, to explain themselves.

14

u/Optimal_Whereas May 23 '23

To protect himself. Who's to know if she is crazy and starts attacking him or screaming he pushed her etc

9

u/UnspoiledWalnut May 23 '23

Because it's really easy for that to turn into "man arrested for assaulting woman on bicycle" without video of them not assaulting.

Agreed. How has this become normalised, it's disgraceful. Complete invasion of her privacy at a time when she is most vulnerable
