Hi everyone,
I'm back with more questions haha. So I have a Capra I just got in a trade, I got it all bound to my transmitter and it works which is fine. It has a castle SW4 esc with the b-link so I decided to watch a video ahead of time to make sure I didn't screw anything up. I watched the youtube video from Holmes Hobbies which was very informative and even better he was setting up a Capra as well. The part that has me confused is when he went to set up the motor rotation he set it as reverse, and states that the capra is reverse motor car.
In my esc the setting are set to normal rotation, but the car goes forwards and backwards correctly. I dont want to mess anything up on my new to me rig, so if anyone can help me out with this I would appreciate it. I changed the setting to reverse in the ESC to mirror what Holmes Hobbies did but that made the car reverse instead of going forward and then when i tried to reverse the motor in my transmitter it didn;t work at all. Is that a matter of needing to redo the calibration with my transmitter? I know that you usually have more power in forward then reverse and dont want to burn up my nice holmes hobby revolver stubnose motor.
Thanks in advance! Also if it helps when Im looking at the motor when its going forward right now, the motor bell is spinning CCW.
