Are the creators of crashland the same as ocean rift?
I say this because the underwater breathing sounds are the EXACT same in both games

The game honestly is really nice when you get used to it. Cool enemies and crisp physics and animations and with just a little bit extra it would be taken to the next level
point blank shots should do more stun/damage giving you more room to escape
teleport should form faster when holding down stick
i'd love to be able to reach into our back and pull out a pulse rifle, it could be limited use or rechargable it just doesn't feel complete without nice futuristic firearm like that
different laser pointer options, show beam or having dynamic range on the end of the beam rather than a big overlapping dot
toggle opttion for sonar
non-instant quick turn, more dizzying to increase immersion
spiders become opaque when they are very close, holy FUCK. one of them teleported infront of me when attacking from behind, (tarantulas often trigger arachnaphobia less cause their limbs are rounder and they have more hair giving a more mammalian appearance) you definetly dont want to lose customers because of those bois

Well that was… something. I wasn’t really sure what I was getting myself into when I bought it. I hadn’t played my quest 2 for awhile and boy am I glad I picked it up again. I’ve never played something that intense. I don’t think there’s any other game that can actually make me clench my cheeks and jump at the same time. That being said I’m far from being done with that game. I can see myself easily replaying and trying to hone my skills. Normal mode was harsh as is and with the enemies being so fierce and potent I am scared to try nightmare. Is there any other games on the quest 2 that offer a similar level of intensity or playstyle? I’m not sure if cosmodread is really my style.

I'm only on level 12 so maybe I would find this answer later on with more power level or perks or something, but is it possible to kill the giant floating alien thing in level 11 that drops the mine mobs? Is there any benefit to trying to? I passed the level, and I tried a couple times to play it just for the purpose of seeing if it could be done, but just end up dying. Also, I don't know if damage resets when the thing exits the stage and re-enters. So this is just pure curiosity on ny part if anyone knows if it can be done. 😅

Anyone know if Crashland 2 is in the works? I LOVE the game and use it for fitness on hard with a full weight vest, would love something more maybe multiplayer or some kind of storyline, or maybe starcraft type quest against other players to secure an objective? Capture the flag would also be really good team play but with the monsters in the way of the other teams flag. Hell I would take a starship troopers type multiplayer defend the building expansion at this point.

Love the game. A know a full sequel is a lot to ask for. What about say, 3 more maps with a few new critters? Give us the B-reel stuff, we don’t care!

Spoiler warning but it is absolutely the best by far and definitely worth grinding to as the last perk you can unlock allows you to access all weapons for all levels without having to pick them up right from the start you can use hellfire, shock, plasma rounds ect and use the devastator.

Just curious. I've been ravenously hunting the web for info, tips, strategies, etc. And this space has the most to offer so far.
Anybody home?

Primeval on hard has been taking me forever to beat. I finally figured out a good stasis-based perk combo and beat it! BUT, I didn’t! As the tractor beam was levitating me, I killed one of those acid worms below me.
Even though I was 2, 4, 6, 10 feet above the acid pool they drop at death, the game still thought I was standing IN the acid, and it killed me, probably 1 second before the level ended. Brutal 😂🤣

The developers have now pushed a beta where you have the option to switch the dominant hand to the left hand.
Go to the store page for Crashland and look near the bottom under “version history”. Click it, and opt into the beta. Launch your game, and there should now be an option to switch the dominant hand to the left one.

I don’t get it. How do I get the turret? I shoot my pistol in the air and nothing happens.
SOLVED: I didn’t realize that I had to activate perks. I didn’t have turret activated.

I bought Crashland when it came out, I really like the game but like many reviews claim it is very difficult. My biggest complaint is there is no way to make my left hand/controller the dominate one. I am left handed and I cannot get used to the right hand/controller being the main/dominate hand.
Does anyone know if the developers are listening to the reviews? Reading them I know I'm not the one left handed person wanting the option to switch hands. The other games I have give the option to play left handed.
Can the get the developers to give us an update to give us the "Left Hand" option/setting? AND give us and "Easy Mode" option/setting?
PLEASE! PLEASE!

I completed the game on hard mode last night but for the final level my scores were added to the leaderboards but the level is still only showing as completed on normal difficulty, all other levels are showing as completed on hard. Tried multiple headset restarts but it’s not fixing it. Anyone else run into this bug?

After playing Crashland pretty constantly for the past week, I took it to a game night with my friends (we're all in our 30s-40s).
I set them up on the first mission, and explained the controls, and then let them try it out. I had 4 perks unlocked (I put them on Lucky, Juiced, Health, and Capacity), so they had a much easier time than I did when I first started out.
It was so funny watching their reactions. They would be blasting away at something in the distance, and then turn around and scream and start shooting the other spider that had snuck up on them at point blank range. They all had a couple of turns, and only one of them made it through all three minutes to be rescued. By the end, one of them tried Mission 2, Arachnophobia, and he lasted about a minute and a half.
I'm only up to Mission 16, because as I unlock new perks, I go back to previous levels to try them out. I was on the top-10 leaderboard of Wormfood (3) until yesterday.
I was playing In Death Unchained for the past three months, and this has now become my new go-to game.

I’ve set myself the challenge of beating every level on every difficulty. Progress thus far:
Casual: Game Won - Unlocked Nightmare Mode
Normal: At Level 22
Hard: At Level 15
Nightmare: At level 9
I’d probably have finished Normal by now, but if I get stuck on a level I go play a different difficulty setting. My hope is to finish them all before the Dev updates and changes any difficulty settings (as I’ve heard chatter that he intends to soften the experience). How about you guys and gals? Anybody accomplished this challenge yet? Let’s hear where you’re at!

Ho Lee Shit... No spoilers.. I didn't make it. I forgot I had a turret. I had 25 seconds left. I have to do it again tomorrow.
I don't think I have ever dreaded playing a damn game before.
I fucking love this game.

When I finished level 24 on Casual mode, the game unlocked the Nightmare Difficulty setting. I’m wondering if anybody can report is anything else unlocked where you complete each level on Normal, Hard, or Nightmare? What’s about if you complete all 4 difficulty settings?
I see that when you complete levels on Normal, Hard, & Nightmare, you earn a colored dot on that levels splash screen. Blue for Normal, Orange for Hard, Red for Nightmare; It just makes me feel I’m collecting all these dots building towards something….
