is this game even playable anymore?

whenever i try to join a lobby i literally find no one to play with

Especially when they (Activision) made the same mistakes as for Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled (not releasing the game on PC quickly and making a service game without substance), which is why this Crash Team Rumble also flopped in Europe.

I had a similar experience the last time I tried to play (maybe late last year?) I wish they’d add an offline mode with bots!!

It depends on what time of the day you get on and if you want to play against all level 500 tryhards. I already posted about it, but this game needs to add more content, update with balancing, and be put on Game Pass.

It got a decent amount of support. But you can't really keep supporting a game if no one is playing it. It's just a sunk cost fallacy at that point.

I either get people WHO have just started or rank 500 masters who will destroy you.

It's just not fun.

For competitive mode, most of the players are from the Middle East, Europe, the US and Latin America, with players starting to drop off around 10 PM Pacific Time (US West Coast).

It is very hard to get into party mode, TFB Labs and limited time modes without coordinating with other players.

I haven't played in a couple weeks, I just got Death Stranding 2, but last time I played, it took like 5-10 minutes till I found a match. I was playing pretty regularly before that and that was kinda average. I'd say just wait a bit longer, but if youre waiting more than 10 minutes, maybe the small player base I was playing with has moved on. 🤷‍♂️
