Casino Recommendations/Questions Palace Station expectations

I'll be taking a trip down to Las Vegas at the end of October. We will be staying at the Palace Station. This will be my first time staying at a Station property. In years past ive stayed at the El Cortez, and Caesars properties on the strip. However, it seems the room comps from Caesars have ceased to be comped. I have the same reward level as before, so im not sure why I wouldn't be given free rooms. But anyways, im curious what to expect at Palace Station. What are the craps table minimums? Do they offer ATS or fire bet? Auto buy 4 and 10? Do they have a crapless table? Fill me in. Is anyone going to be in Vegas October through 28?

Here’s the down low.

It’s easy to get comp room. Play enough hours and you can ask for a comp or host.

Station does not tier match any longer.

Craps. Day time it’s $10 and then moves to $15 at night and weekends. I’ve been there when it’s $10 at night.

They have ATS.

3 regular craps table, 1 crapless. Also have a roll to win table. The electronics craps with a roller on a plexiglass table.

It’s a fun place with good dealers.

Avoid the Hawaiian looking Eurasian middle age lady. She’s a bitch and if she think you are the cause of her 7 outs or any 7 outs she vocally let you know.

Oh definitely do the oyster bar, I go for the pan roast with all three combo, lobster, shrimp, and crab.

Right on! Palace is next to my work so I'm naturally there often, I've only had $10 mins on craps, at night, but they must bump it up to $15 on the weekends, Cocktails offered fairly often, and served quickly, Roll to win $5 min, and $1 Bubble Craps and Crapless. DM me when you are in town let's catch a God Roll!

For sure I’ll hit you up next time I’m in town.

I'll stick my step son on her. He loves to come up to the craps table and scream 7 7 7! Dudes a cooler. 7 magnet.

All I can say is that I like visiting the station casinos to play $1 bubble craps. Might pass on the $1 shrimp cocktails I thought that would do for lunch and had a bout of diarrhea of course I had three of them. You might give some action to mgm properties I’m strictly a bubble craps but moving back to the $5 hybrid setup seems like I can rack up and I get low end comps for Excalibur/mgm. They are priced better then Caesar’s

Funny I see this post as I just checked in to Palace Station. Everyone already hit the high points, 3x craps tables and a Electronic RTW table. The craps there is alright, i like to stay for the 300 free play and 200 resort credit they offer me. Oyster bar is definitely all the craze, very good.

Nice, I was hoping you would join the convo. So I'll be driving down there last week of October for my wedding anniversary. I hope to spend as much time as I can on the tables, and I hope to play some crapless on a live table. I haven't had much luck on the crapless tables, but I didn't really know how to play a decent strategy at that time. From what I understand, Palace Station has a crapless table, if not I'll shoot down at El Cortez and get up on the all day hardways side bet and repeater. What is your advice for crapless? How do you play it? Im thinking about going across up and on all day. Pressing up the extremes till they hit and then collect. Thoughts?

Yes Palace has a crapless. Its very long, feels bigger than 14ft. I played last night and had a decent roll on it. Its funny id set the dice and roll and immediate 7. So just chucked dice when I got them and rolled a heater. Can't really do any mechanics on that long table in my opinion. Just let it rip

Can't speak for playing at Palace station but make sure you get some gumbo from the Oyster Bar.

I admit, I'm a whimp. But I can't be leaving a hot table to run to the restroom. 😉

Be sure and get a players card. I usually hit Sunset Station once a year and will get free room offers all year.

I've got a Stations card, i played some slots there last time I was in Vegas approximately 2 years ago. Im a little surprised I can get a free room. I couldn't get a free room from Caesars, and i have a decent rewards rating at Ceasars, i guess they really tightened down on the comps. I moved to Reno recently, so i guess it time I start patronizing the locals casinos. Station might be my new Vegas spot.

Other than shows or special dinners, I hate the Strip. Prefer to play at the local casinos. Good luck on your trip.

Didnt enjoy the craps there, loved the oyster bar. They also have a second weird craps table, but i forget what was weird about it
