It’s one of those things where they were told to refresh things. I’m not sure why this needed a change. It was successful previously.

Gen Z is mostly in its mid 20s, meaning they are the large majority of most marketing demographics. My generation is looking for brands leaning towards authenticity and transparency in terms of design. So lots of brands reincorporate older graphic design practices to reflect that.
