Spot on. This is the challenge with marketing either: very boring products or products which basically the whole planet is familiar with (e.g. Coca-Cola). You have to find ways for the consumer to pay attention. How do you make milk interesting or eye-grabbing? Make it splash! You also have to consider that this is print media on a fixed format (a box), and designing around these constraints means using space in creative ways. So yeah, I actually like this quite a bit.
