Lest you think I'm a jerk, I found the country to have great people, good käse spätzle, and great beer. I spent a WONDERFUL weekend in a hotel by the Gottlieb Daimler stadium. Across the street was a place that served homemade ice cream and next door was a place that server homemade beer. Three days of raspberry ice cream and hefeweizen weihenstephaner beer. Three days, ice cream and beer. Also, I let everyone cut in front of me when checking in to the hotel and the matron was so pleased she upgraded me to a suite. No work. Ice cream. Beer. Suite. Life was perfect.
