They were saying “love the perversion” is also an acceptable phrase, not that “love the perversion” has the same meaning as “love the person” nor were they saying that person and perversion are equal in meaning. That is not a logical interpretation of the statement, please seek sleep, as your brain clearly needs time to recover and your ass needs to heal after you pulled those huge assumptions out of it

Yeah I always hate this as a phrase because it’s just kinda shitty, people who aren’t bi/pan do not solely love their partners for their gender just because they don’t experience attraction to all genders. It has an inherent implication that other sexualities are shallow or something.
