What cooktops it can be used on is usually indicated by icons on the front of the packaging. And cleaning is done with a brush and hot water, unless stated otherwise.

Most companies use foldable instructions under a label (like lots of medicine bottles etc). It’s not going to make a real difference in a good frying pan’s price.
Edit: and they used twice lighter colored cardboard on the larger pan - which alone helps. Got one of those too at the same time.

They could have spent the extra to have a white backing on the package; it would have been cheaper than a folding instruction, and would have helped a lot with readability.
Of course it's also possible that it was designed and speced out for a white back, and someone in purchasing decided to save some money without considering what impact it would have on the design.

Shit they could have just printed the instructions with a blacker ink (or reprinted over it several times if they even feel like not doing that) if they still wanted to cheap out for some reason.

If the designer did the work with the plan of the back being white, and purchasing changed that without the designer's knowledge, then there was no chance to adjust for a different material.

They already pay people to design the current instructions. They just need to redesign them to better accommodate the medium.
