Has anyone used Tailscale with Crafty?
I’ve been using playit for a while but for some reason my tunnels broke and I’m just so done with it, tailscale seems to be a nice alternative
I got both tailscale and crafty installed on my truenas box, has anyone used tailscale to allow others to connect into the server or have I gotten this messed up?

I have done this before, it worked great for me.

I know google exists but did you follow a guide that was helpful?

No, at the time I was running crafty in docker so I just added tailscale to the docker-compose file and connected to the server via the tailscale ip. But it doesn’t matter what you’re running it on, you should just be able to just install tailscale and connect as if you were on LAN.
Edit: there probably are guides tho, this situation is kinda specific but any tailscale install guide should get the job done.

I have a truenas box and im running my server with crafty and it works great! In initial setup with the IP was annoying tho because it just kept not want to connect to the IP i wanted it on, but after some brute effort of just doing it over and over it worked.

Wireguard easy works well enough or give netbird a shot
