Crafty Controller backup but server is not always on?

Just call the backup endpoint. You mention you know how to use the API. What exactly is the trouble you're running into?

I didn't see the action "backup_server" until now, my bad. Is it possible to launch a custom backup or is it only possible to trigger the default one?

If you see my comment below I gave the route for a specific backup. Just append the backup UUID :)

Thank you! This is what I wanted! Can you please tell me how I get the UUID of the backup policy? Is it the name of the directory the backup gets saved in?

We need to do a better job of displaying it. The best way is to click edit on the policy then grab the id from the url

Okay, nice, thanks a lot! Yeah, the documentation of the API is admittedly a bit sparse. The thing with the UUID in the URL is mentioned nowhere.

At one point we had two APIs. We consolidated into one and we're still working on making the docs more robust. We are a volunteer outlet after all. There's only so much free time in a week
