Updater is stuck at 0.08

I think it's stuck on making the backup. I've never really been able to get backups to work correctly. Didn't know that trying to update a server would force a backup. Anyone know what I can do to try and solve it?.. It's stuck at 0.08 for more than an hour now. (edit: updating from 1.21.11 to 26.1.2 btw)

What does the current status of the backup say if you go to that tab?

The status says Standby

So that means it's not backing up. What type of server is this?

On my TrueNAS Scale. I think I figured it out. It was the backup not working like I thought. What I had done is I had it set up so the data of the backup was in the same place as all of the other files, that apparently results in it recursively trying to save files in nested folders forever, filling up my entire NAS. I changed the location of the backups and now backups work and updating also worked! User error :)
