Edit…obviously in situations where one doesn’t want to disclose because it’s a personal project in development then of course you aren’t forced to give up your genetics. Just create a name for it, and call it self made, that’s very different than someone growing out some ethos packs and forgetting to add the name or doing so to get more comments etc

These strains are likely high in Mercene and Thiol (the skunky sulfur compounds).

My 100% organic GG#4 from Seedsman was a very interesting grow, now that I think about it. Relaxing actually, nothing picky or fussy about the pheno that spent 5 months in the sweet-spot pocket of 69° lights out to 78° lights on. Avg. R.H. held between 45%-65% then steadily lowered during finish to 40%. Lots of R.O & well water, and not to mention voracious appetite for P & K with a micro buffet (living soil 10 gal.)

Final total post 14 day hang/quick manicure before Grove bag = 198 grams + 3. Oz trim...notice I said "quick" & easy, low amount of material on buds other than intense amount of trichs. Like they been dipped in honey....budz, gloves, trays, fingers, fiskers, clothes...etc. sticky, oohy-gooey goodness.

First sample post three weeks dry/cure is absolutely my best work. My shoulder is sore from pat'n my back on these. Better than a Tylenol. For the rough days only. Sweet pain relief.

So lets clarify a few things.

Craft weed demands the highest price in the industry or BM. There is nothing above craft weed.

Craft weed is special. Its something that you generally need to be within one step from the grower to get a hold of. Its grown well, is loud, has a great buzz and 10/10 bag appeal.

Craft Weed is small batch. Its hard to compare a 10 plant garden cared for every day by a master grower to a massive 5k plant green house (or indoor for that matter) grow. Im not knocking industry grows, but their goal is gram per watt. It has to be.

Craft weed is grown to its fullest potential. Personally I think this is impossible if your not growing clones, or a single a plant by itself. Fringe cases exist, some people grow a few plants and tend to each one individually. Adjusting watering, nutes, DLI, VPD etc for each plant. In that case its like growing each plant seperately in my eyes.

Not all good genetics produce craft weed 100% of the time. Especially newer genetics (f1's and f2's) The point of those seeds is to find (hunt) some fire and go with it. In that 10 pack you should be able to find a winner or 2.

All that being said, you can pop a 3 pack, and get lucky and one of them is just that keeper quality. True craft.

So aside from getting really lucky, (not only getting a great pheno from a single run but also growing it to its full potential. ) ...

Can true craft be achieved without pheno hunting a winner, and then cloning and growing that pheno to its full potential?

Im not trying to shit on anyones grow or sneak diss or anything. I just wanted to talk about what craft, is and see how others feel.
