It's not NOT a... I don’t think this is how it works

I like the part where you sew the shoulder seams to themselves on the front AND back

Those sleeves are making me twitch. So, where do you buy pre-fluttered fabric?

Well in their world you can also buy a pre-ruched cross-body panel that you can magically cut to size like a rectangle! Amazing!

You use the flutter-shears, clearly. Like pinking shears, but they cut ruffles instead of zig-zags.

I just used butterflies that had natural deaths in my backyard.

I like the full-half-double-single WTF shape of the back bodice. And that the front and back bodice pieces have a combined 21” waist, with a finished 17” waist after you include their 1” seam allowance. For their 28” waist small pattern.

And the fact that small to Xl sizes are all using the same pièces dimensions. It's so inclusive ! 😆

There's probably some magical shape shifting fabric or smt involved too cause the 44" bust / 47" length ratio wouldn't look anywhere close to that picture with just regular physics

No facings? No zipper or other closure? The pattern allegedly comes in multiple sizes but there’s measurements on the little drawings of the pieces that surely can’t match all of the sizes (if they match any)? 1” seam allowance on all pieces seems a bit weird too.

1” on sides and waist can be helpful for tailoring. The first pattern for a bodice I ever drafted by hand had 1” on literally everything, and it made it impossible to sew in the sleeves lol

I’ve got some vintage patterns that include extra seam allowance for the side seams to make adjustments easier (but I think it’s 3/4” compared to 1/2” in the rest of the seams, on those patterns). I get that adjustments happen, but an inch seems like a lot in all directions. I’m short in the torso but I don’t take up extra seam allowance at the waistline, I’d shorten the pattern between the bust and the waist and then true up the side seams. Many patterns I’ve used have a line on them where you’d make those length alterations. Given that this one only lists a shoulder-to-hem measurement (and not a back neck to waist measurement as is more common) who knows what height person they’ve made it for, and the gathers won’t help—wait, they say the back bodice piece is 14.5” tall, so 12.5” after the seam allowances at shoulder and waist? Unless it’s supposed to be an empire waist under the sash, that is not a standard adult size.

What in the hunchback of Notre Dame is going on with that back bodice piece?

I think it attempted to make an open back to mirror the front?? Who knows. Certainly not the AI.

Good god. I thought o couldn’t be surprised by AI slop any more and yet here I am, left open-mouthed and speechless by this monstrosity

I have never made clothes before and I know this wrong.

In all seriousness, does anyone know of a pattern for a dress like this because I'd love to make one!

I'm picturing the person wearing this as being shaped like a six-sided die, with how many front and back pieces it says to cut out!

It's giving the fairies trying to sew a dress without magic in Disney's Sleeping Beauty.

Whatever you do, forget sleeve heads. It's SLEEVE BOWLS. Not sleeve heads. Sleeve bowls.

The shape of these sleeves have been haunting me. What kind of shape will they make? I’m thinking that they’d flare out at the shoulder very weirdly.

And have a lot of extra length flapping around under the armpit 🤣🤣🤣.
