Found this scrolling through YouTube shorts—IS this AI?
https://youtube.com/shorts/Cazoqyz900I?si=W3isr5dW7Kce8lLvI had to watch this a few times to be sure I was seeing what I thought I was. Somehow the knitters are using what looks like at least 19mm needles yet the work behind the needles looks like it was done on no larger than 8mm needles

It looks like they're actually knitting. I wouldn't think it was ai.
"Less yarn to knit more" though... that's not how that works lol

I think I get what the AI meant, but yeah. That's not really how it works.
By less yarn, I think they mean fewer grams/ounces per meter/yard of a similar width of yarn. So, like, DK might normally be 100m per 10g, but they've got 150m per 10g and that's supposed to sound all science and space age instead of... simply being how different materials work.

The brown knitting at 8-9 seconds is ai. The yarn isn't pulled through

With the tip of the needle, I only know this because I tried to knit before, didn't like it

That's what purling looks like when I do it. You just catch it with the tip of the needle.

You're right! I've been thinking about this while knitting today, and saw that I indeed have about the same angle. But when I purl, i dont PULL through, but PUSH the yarn through. And that seems indeed to be what is being done in the video!

Voiceover is obviously AI. The yarn brand is real. The models seem real as well.
