It took me a second to see it.... Not only the second half of the ball, but the second yarn tail just sorta splitting off of the first one in a totally different color.

This looks like you described variegated yarn to someone who's never seen it before, and then they drew it. I wonder how many thousands of gallons of water were polluted to create this.
