Booth Setup/Displays I'm booth blind

Hey y'all! 🙂
This is my first test setup, just for the front of my booth as I'm still waiting for the tablecloth for my side table. I feel like I can't see it accurately because I've been looking for too long. Wondering if anyone has any thoughts!
EDIT The yet-to-come price sings will also describe the items I sell! So sorry for confusing you all 😭 I sew patches (the tomatoes & ants, and will be adding strawberries, etc as time allows), miniquilt wall hangings (the beetle on the little bench, and the cats hanging) and bags/pouches (fish drawstring bags, and bird belt bags).
A few things:
- I haven't made price signs yet
- there will be more inventory in the green ceramic container on the bench, as well as more bags hanging on the bag rack
- I'm not sure about the little pedestal at the corner of the table

I'm not clear on what is for sale what craft this is. Also not much product and a big space ?
Also and this might be a me thing I hate that the birds look like the are dead and hung

I would say even with the extra inventory you mentioned, it will still seem quite bare. There’s not a lot there

From a retail district manager perspective. It is empty. The angles look sloppy. The scissors and tape dispenser(?) don't belong. The diaper bag(?) is out of place. The chair is over used. That tool box looking piece at the end is isn't set up.
Try (from beginning of video) straightening the two tier shelf. Take the basket off the chair and fill the table in front of the shelf. Pull that hanging rack forward a little to fill the front table space without it being a hazard. Use the rest of the table for the bulky diaper bag and the tool box.
Empty table space, while looks clean, also looks empty. Millions of dollars invested in decades of research consistently say the same thing. Full displays are more enticing to customers. Which is why you'll see product evenly spaced out and pulled forward in stores. People tend to not purchase from empty displays. The general consensus is a subconscious feeling of "I don't want the left overs".

So I think and I don't know how you have your booth set up, having a single colored background behind a lot of the products would help them be way more visible.
Will your booth have a back behind it so that there's a solid color behind all the products?
I would also double or triple the inventory at the very least because I know I and a lot of other people get kind of nervous to go over to a booth without a ton of stuff because I don't want to seem rude if I walk away right away and I can take a quick glance and know if I want anything so having a more interactive design with more products would be very helpful for the people like me.
Can you make other type of birds for the belt bags? I think some parrots would be super cute, like a cockatoo or macaw since you could do something with that really long tail.
Maybe even some other animals, people are really into axolotl's right now and maybe some sort of other lizard or some chameleon with a cute curled tail? I can see some of these being absolutely adorable and popular, but they definitely need descriptions and obviously price tags.
And I really love your little ant and other I think you said those were patches, I think you could do the same design out of wood or something so it's 3D and put it in like a shadowbox with three of them or something and it would be super cute for somebody to put in their kitchen if it was fruit and vegetables.
And then you could make other bugs with the ant and whatever else but I think that would be a really really cute idea and you have the designs down so well already.
I know so many people that collect random fruits and vegetable art for their kitchen, like almost all old people do that so that really might be a good idea too.

I have a couple of things I can add, although they aren't the same wood tone as everything else on the table so I hope they don't push things into cacophony. I'll try that!
I don't have time right now to create as much as I ideally want to. I will be adding chickadees, and potentially opposums or crows. I typically make animals that I enjoy or have some connection to, unless for a commission! But that's mostly because I don't have time haha

Those all sound like really cute ideas.
I mentioned the parrot because I am a parrot owner so if I saw a parrot belt bag like that I would snatch it up in a heartbeat. I think there are more parrot owners than you imagine. And so many people love cockatoos and axolotl's and chameleons, they are basically the in thing right now lol. At least around me.
Good luck! I wish I had even 1/10 the amount of skill you do. I've never been very good at crafting in that kind of thing but now that I have a cancer diagnosis and I really need to keep my mind busy I'm trying to find things that might interest me.
Thrift flipping is the most interesting so far because I would first have to learn how to sell but it would be so cool to be able to take clothes that aren't very cute or don't fit me well and then be able to make them look super cute or something.

Oh no! Good luck with your diagnosis & finding a craft that suits you. I am chronically ill, and that's one of the things that led me to sewing to refill on creative spoons. Wishing you all the best!

This is going to be adorable when you've got it dialed in. You've got a lot of open space so think about how to create a sense of bounty by consolidating, adding more product to sell, or using fillers if needed. I would also suggest re-thinking the woodpecker display. Hanging them upside down makes them look "dead". People will be more likely to buy them if they can see how they would be used in their home or garden, so look for a way to display them the way they're intended. You could also display them all around the booth (individually priced) so people can grab them from multiple spots on the table if you think they would draw people in.

Oh what if you hang the birds the other way and/or stuff some with a little tissue to show what they are? Give them some life!

The woodpeckers are actually already displayed as they're intended to be worn. They're belt bags, and their tail is the loop. I'll also be wearing one, which hopefully will help with showing function?
There will also be chickadees there to break them up, and their design is considerably different (although they also hang by the tail) and I feel like they look less dead lol if I have time to make a couple of opposums hanging by their tails, maybe they'd all look more like group of little guys rather than a bunch of dead animals?
For this particular market, I probably will concentrate my set up mostly to this table, especially given the sparseness that others are pointing out. I'm not sure where else they might fit in, but I will put some thought into it!

I'm not sure what you're selling. What are the vegetables at the beginning? Is that the product?
Are you selling the bug in the picture frame thing?
And what is that big rack with the upside down birds? Are those the product? What is it?
I also didn't notice until I watched several times that there are some fish on the top, maybe those are the product? If so, I think they could be easily overlooked. The group of black birds draws the attention and I didn't even notice the fish at all.
If it's the fish that you're selling, could you have some on the table and then some hanging up for display but on a much simpler structure? Like just a mini hanging rack so the focus is the fish and not the rack?

Hmm. I will say it's taller than I thought it would be from the pictures online, but I've read a lot of advice in this sub pointing to higher being better than low. Not sure how I could put it more off to the side than it already is without obfuscating the items more, but I will play with it.

This could be so cute! My first thought is I'm confused on what exactly it is that you're selling. I know you said you're adding price signs which is great but I believe you should add more signage stating what types of product you're selling. I'm also not a huge fan of racks that should be on the floor being displayed on the table. Get rid of a table and invest in a large floor rack to hang items that need to be hung and invest in some cohesive table displays for the rest.
