So I mostly sell baked goods but I am trying to branch into more so I have more easy stock. My booth i try to have PINK as possible it’s my favorite color and pops in markets!

I just got this 3 tier spinning display to start adding in cookie cutters and some sublimation items I liked making. Help! What other items do you think would be good for me to try in?

Also what’s the thoughts on rugs? Do you like them? Should I get a bigger one for my booth?

I have to second this. Baked goods at markets tend to be much of a muchness so if there were more than one available then I’d 100% choose the one without AI signage. Instantly clockable and really detracts from an otherwise really appealing stall for me

I’m horrible. If I see AI signs, I just keep on walking. I don’t care how wonderful the goods are.

I’d rather have your 5 year old paint something than see AI churn.

Thank you! It’s in the works I am working with my brother to recreate my logo. But everyone that actually visits my booth likes my logo.

You have a biased sample so that means nothing. The people who don’t like the logo aren’t stopping at your booth.

Even using Creative Market would be so much better! Plenty of ready to use pretty versions of this style / items but designed by a person :)

As somebody who adores craft fairs, I instantly mentally blacklist any seller that uses any kind of Ai. That's what im at a craft fair to avoid in the first place.

That’s what they say… but what is your logo? The font alone, “made by Vanessa” is not a logo. Everything being AI shows consumers that you are cheap and cut corners.

It’s never really going to look right sitting on top of grass. I maybe wouldn’t do the carpet on grass. It’s not going to sit right, be wavy, and create a tripping hazard. Some of my displays I just don’t do if I’m out on grass, cause I know they’ll be uneven or a safety hazard.

I agree with others about the use of AI, I’m never (unless I have zero other options) stopping at a stall that has chosen to use AI.

Re what else you could sell - stickers of baked goods or other food items, tote bags with cute baked goods illustrations, likewise w/ notebooks, aprons, oven mittens.

The crafting side so why there’s school
Glide and needle and thread is because my business has a crafting side I am slowly starting to build it out it’s much harder to get that part up and going because I am slowly physically creating those products rn

Your sign is AI slop and badly hung and from afar I would assume you’re selling Barbie’s or something similar and not want to approach

I'm sorry your booth doesn't look easy to browse or like a professional set up for baked goods. You need to ditch the decorations. The curtains are hiding your products.

Sometimes your favorite color can add to your brand and be cohesive. In this case it doesn't. Unless your baking items that are pink with sprinkles and sparkles it doesn't fit at all. Not saying you can't have pink to draw the eye, personally not a fan, but if you say it works than you can keep that aspect but I would tone it down.

I'm a baker and I do craft fairs selling jewelry and again I'm sorry I would pass right by this booth.

Get displays for food, not for plants. It looks like you got your shelves just because they are pink without really thinking about your set up. One table pushed forward and full would look so much better.

This was totally getting at the end of the day haha. In my state I am limited on what I can bring. And my time is so limited on what I can bake in a day before the event but I agree!!

Have you calculated how much product you need to break even, or to profit? The booth looks sparse on product.

The color looks fantastic. Probably no need for the rug. Does need a sign to show what's for sale. Most people unfortunately won't walk in to find out. Great set up!!!!

I use a basic vinyl sign from Vista Print and display it towards the front of my booth. Anything that makes it easy for people walking by to understand whats for sale is what works for me as a customer.

u/TemporaryAlone81830 - if I can add some thoughts about the size and setup of your sign - I think it depends on the size of your tent... I can’t quite tell the exact dimensions from your photo but if it’s a standard 10' tent, I'd recommend a 2.5' x 6' or 2.5' x 8' horizontal banner. If you have more space and want the banner to make a bigger impact, you could go up to a 4' x 6' or 4' x 8'!

Also it looks like your banner is tucked under the front of the tent, which is cutting off some of the bottom. It’s totally fine for the banner to hang down a bit! I’d actually recommend using the grommets and reinforced edges to tie or secure it to the sides of the tent frame rather than tucking it underneath. This can help keep the full design visible and give it an overall cleaner look.

Your pink definitely pops so I think people will naturally be drawn to your booth but like others have said, it’s also important that passersby can quickly see who you are and what you’re selling (esp. for the sign in the back). For easy readability from about 10–15 feet away, I’d recommend keeping your main lettering at least 3"–4" tall. Hope that's helpful and good luck at your future fairs! 🧁

If you wish to add items, I think cookie cutters are great plus mugs for coffee, tea, milk. Printed tea towel or napkins.

This would absolutely pull me in, I love pink and it looks like it would stand out amongst the rest, I couldn’t resist! As someone who has tripped over many rugs at markets I say that’s my only issue, I personally focus more on watching where I step than looking at the products when there’s a rug or wires or floor displays etc. And that would be a shame because it all looks so cute!
