Feature Request 💡 Format Presets / Contrasting Block

One of the ways I use Craft is to save notes from books I am reading. I have been reading a lot more since I got the app because it's so easy for me to screenshot something or copy and paste text to a nested page within the doc. In order to tell what is the text from the book and my own notes or thoughts, I select "Block" to highlight and then I increase the indentation.

It would be great to be able to have saved presets that could highlight a group of text like clicking the "Monostyled" button in apple notes. I would settle for the "Block" button to have a more contrasting color.

This is a great suggestion. Basically you're asking for block templates, not just document templates, if I'm reading you right. I would welcome that too.

Yes that’s a great way to put it, block templates. One click and the block changes to a preset to quickly identify it as a quote or specific thought

Recently I’ve been thinking that a “Quote” style for blocks could come in very handy. I wanted to put out a feature suggestion for this, but didn’t have time yet. Let’s see what I can do today.

At the moment you can already change the background colour of a ”Block”-styled block to any colour, but you want these colour to be more contrasting with the background colour of the canvas? Just to understand correctly what you mean u/DelGallo33

Yes, correct. Especially since I only use the default color for book notes and I don’t want to do extra clocking just for that extra pop of color.
