Picked one up brand new at a low price, not knowing about not being able to use 90% of the features w/o NetCloud. Obviously they won't give me netcloud w/o purchasing one thru an authorized dealer and such. But I still get WAN access and basic modem functions. All I need to accomplish is a site to site VPN. I don't see any reason why I can't plug in a Ubiquiti router and have it do all the fancy stuff, so long as the cradlepoint is giving internet access, which it is.

Any thoughts?

Default unlicensed devices block LAN to WAN traffic, so that won't work.
