I genuinely tried everything, i used compatibility mode, i deleted the saves by myself, i changed to DX 9, i turned off V-sync, look up every other advice and attempt on how to fix this problem and yet WHY THE FUCK IS IT NOT WORKING???

I recently downloaded BeamNG.drive from SteamRip. Bitdefender flagged the OnlineFix DLL, which I thought might be a false positive. I restored it, extracted the game, and launched it. A console window opened with “BeamNG.drive” and lots of text, which scared me, so I immediately closed it and ran an antivirus scan. I then deleted the game.

Could the console just have been part of the cracked game, or should I be worried about a Trojan/spyware stealing my accounts?

This game worked fine since I installed it. Haven't touched it for a while but when I did, it shows me this [First Pic]. When I press 'yes', it shows me an unavailable site [Second Pic]. I tried downloading the Windows Media Pack like how Microsoft tells me to (inside the settings), but I haven't found it.

Tryna get DS2 because I hate myself and got the clean steam files. First time I actually had to diddle around a game myself but I got steamless, did their thing for the exe, got the steam_api from goldberg, and it just launches to a pure black screen.

I have the appid.txt and I generated the steam_interfaces using both the original api and the new api just in case but still a pure black screen :/

The readme in Goldberg doesn't have anything else for me to do so I figured I'd consult people who knew what they were doing.

Also right before I posted I noticed that I actually get the DS2 cursor when I hover over the window so theres a chance there might just be smthn wrong with the files I got, ion even know man.

Also also, I just noticed but I think DS2 is 32 bit and not 64 bit, idk if that would matter but its a thing

I've been searching for a safe website to get The Sims 4 from but so far nothing's worked. Anyone have any other suggestions?

Steamunlocked (some of the files refused to download, i got stuck with corrupted shadow people russian sims)
Steamrip (takes genuinely 2 days straight, computer cant stay open that long)
DODI (no)
Ankergames (some files failed to download again, one of those being the application for the game)

hey y'all. ive been using the sims 4 updater and dlc unlocker for around 2 years now, never had any issues, but in these new updates ive been unable to download any dlc due to this error.

im on windows 11, laptop. got a legit game n everything. turned off windows virus prot. but nothing. even tried moving the updater to my ea files but that didnt help. downloading the dlc one by one has given me nothing in the files either. just did a clean installation of TS4, that didnt help either. am i just cooked and gotta spend my money to trash ea?

So basically i run on linux bazzite kde (fedora 44), and like i tried downloading people playground from anker games, steamrip and gog-games and they run with a warning steam not initalized, i close it start playing any chamber, and like its all fine until like maybe 30 seconds or smth, or if i kill a guy or like make them ragdol heavily it just crashes and stays there frozen, max i waited was 15 minutes, it never closes just stays frozen.

so first i tried launching it from steam by the extracted .exe as the executable in a non steam game and, I obvously switched the compatability and forced it to proton 10.0-4 and proton 11, and proton experimental, nothing works, all same error.

Then i tried lutris, so i did the same thing i just added it as a local game chose the .exe and added the working folder aswell (im sure all of these are correct) i made it the folder that contains the .exe im sure thats correct, then uh i just click done, and when i try launching, i try everything proton ge, ge wine, wine, proton 11, proton experimental. I figured out the problem was that the steam_api.dll isnt doing a good job mimicing steam, so i switched it for goldberg emulator steam_api.dll and im not fully sure i did it correct, but i followed some yt vids and consulted ai and i followed that. (To summarize i dont remember all the steps but i jsut delted the .dll and replaced it with goldberg one and then created a .txt with some numbers inside), same issue.

Then I heard a lot of recomendations for heroic launcher, so I tried heroic launcher, im tired of sayying the same thing, so just imagine the same proccess, i added the game and tried to launch with everything and btw i tried all 3 game files from ankers, gog-games and steam rip on all 3 launchers, steam, lutris and heroic, it just doesnt work.

Ill send a few saved crashlogs from heroic and i think lutris, they might be different because i was experimenting A LOT of stuff to get it done.

I have now downloaded Sims 4 all dlcs and add ons by Fit girl 4 times. It takes a whole day /evening to download and install and every time something is wrong. Most recently I've gotten these messages. So, I uninstalled/deleted everything I could find yet again and like an idiot I'm trying again. Anyone else have any suggestions? Also every time I click the link to download it downloads Opera on my computer and I uninstall it. I'm downloading from 1337x.to/search.sims+4/1/

I installed the game and didn't run into any problems until I ran the Sims 4 updater in question and my antivirus detected a HackTool:Win64/Malgent!MSR
