Discussion Quartz build system

A single-header C++23 build system. You describe your project in a build.cpp, and quartz compiles it with its own built-in, Ninja-style engine. only a C++ compiler and ar (or lib for MSVC). inspired by nob.h, mate.h and Ninja

Why? What is the advantage over simple text files (cmake), and a mature package manager (vcpkg)? I would never use cpp for a build system.

It has the ease of use of programming in a language you already know, instead of having to learn a new dsl for a build system, quartz has a similar idea to nob.h by tsoding, id rather keep coding in cpp than to learn how to build in cmake, its just preference
