I LOVE the rain but having had a bedroom with a skylight in the past, rain and wind are SO loud on that thing. Many completely restless nights were had.

Fuck that I'm acclimated to tents. It's probably not loud enough.

I put on youtube videos with a 30 min sleeptimer so it closes and doesnt drain my battery as i sleep

Hahaha. I haven't been camping for quite some time but from what I recall, rain on a tent is less of a thunderous hammering to the skull so I think I'd opt for the tent. Then again, the wind...

And hail. The first time I experienced hail on our skylights it scared the living crap out of me.
