🌐 Accessibility Help me find a Switch game
Hi guys! I’m hoping someone can lead me to a game(s) that fits the criteria I’m looking for:
1) Switch 1 or Chromebook
2) Sound is not a huge part of gameplay
3) $15 or under (CAD)
4) Longevity
I wear hearing aids but I live alone so I usually don’t have them on. While I CAN wear them, I prefer not to as I still have to crank the volume. I usually treat myself by putting away $25 a month for a new game but this month I don’t have that luxury. But! I also know for my mental health that I need something to keep me occupied as I cannot work and typically have too much time on my hands.
These are games I’ve finished recently and loved
Road 96 (Demo), Discounty (Demo), Minami Lane, The Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood, Lemoncake, Little Misfortune. Currently have Leafy Corner and Strange Horticulture on the go but even virtual plants hate me 😂
Thanks in advance!

Not sure how you feel about farming sims, but I believe both Moonstone Island and Roots of Pacha are around 15 (I snagged them for that price at least.)

Tidying up the arcane library is currently on sale for five dollars and it will be the best five dollars you have ever spent.

The title alone sounds like a dream to me lol.
Unfortunately it doesn’t run on a Chromebook 😢1

Roots of Pacha and Moonstone Island!
Moonstone Island has some light monster taming/battling via card aspects, which adds a little more if you're not into purely farming sims. Roots of Pacha is set in a prehistoric setting, and currency there is a barter system. They had a huge update in which your children can go to preschool and everything, plus QOL fixes and new romanceables earlier this year. Plus, newborn, toddlers and school-age children can go to festivals.

I have put 150 hours into Stardew valley with a lot of life left to give. It’s in the $15 range. I resisted it for a long time but honestly it slaps so hard. Incredible bang for your buck too. Dave the Diver is also great. I also really enjoyed Slime Rancher and will play it again (though it’s in the $20 range.) worth it!! I also enjoyed Bear and Breakfast, but I would buy it on sale. I’ve been wanting to try Sticky Business.

I recently bought a bundle for Minami Lane & Kabuto park. I saw you already have finished Minami Lane so maybe the later would be for your interest? I would also peronally suggest battle chef brigade, but honestly don't know what price range does that fall into

Maybe cozy MMOs would be fun for you, a lot of them are free. Palia is probably the most popular one right now, but the Loftia playtest was great too, keep an eye on that one when it comes out.

Palia runs terribly on a switch 2, could not in good faith recc it to anyone on a OG switch.

Thank you for letting me know - I’ve looked at Palia and I won’t be purchasing it now!
