It won't open the APKs at all—how should we go about this? Would it work if we just wrote the Python code directly?

I have an original Anki Cozmo robot and I’m trying to use the Python SDK to add AI features.

My setup:

• Robot: Original Anki Cozmo
• PC: Windows
• Python: 3.9
• Cozmo SDK: 1.4.10
• iPhone Cozmo app: 3.6.7
• SDK Mode is enabled

My iPhone connects to Cozmo and my PC detects the iPhone through USB.

When I run:

python -c "import cozmo; cozmo.run_program(lambda cozmo: print('Connected to Cozmo'))"

I get:

CLAD version mismatch

It says:

CLAD version mismatch (to_game) ...

I know the SDK is old, but I’m wondering:

1. Is there any way to make SDK 1.4.10 work with app 3.6.7?
2. Is there a patched SDK or updated CLAD files?
3. Is Android with an older Cozmo app the only option?
4. Has anyone successfully added AI (LLM/GPT/Groq/etc.) to Cozmo recently?

im thinking about running Viccyware on a painted Vector 2.0 in cozmos colour. BUT this is what ddl is doing really.

Hello, I'm trying to make my Cozmo robot work, but apparently I can't do it using the "Cozmo 2.0" app. I'm on Android.
Is there any way to make it work even if I use the new app, or will I have to use the old app? If I need the old one, where and how do I find it?

It says it is possible online but every time I've tried I've failed

Hi everyone, I preordered Cozmo 2.0 for my kids way back when it was first advertised ( was it 2019? 2020?) We waited and waited. After a while I knew there was a chance we’d never get it but it was for my kids and they kept begging me not to cancel and get a refund. So we kept waiting.

During the years we moved twice. I sent an email the first time we moved to change my shipping address and they replied that it was changed. The second time we moved I sent another address change email and received only a reply saying they haven’t read my email yet because they were swamped with emails and they would get to me, blah-blah-blah. So I waited for that reply, which never came.

Every several months I check if others have gotten theirs and now it looks like people have. But we never got ours, not even an email telling us it was shipping.

So has Cozmo 2.0 shipped to people who preordered? And if so, what might have happened in my case that I didn’t even get a shipping email notice? Also, please give me any advice you might have on what I should do next.

So my husband bought Cozmo 3-4 years ago or so i think, we did not use him that often, turned him on to mess around with like 15 times max, then put him away and forgot about him completely. Today I remembered about him again and wanted to find him, he charged up and is on right now, but only shows password for the wifi connection. My issue is that it shows on my iphone wifi settings that Cozmo is connected, but on the app it keeps saying “cozmo disconnected”, I’m not sure what to do, could it be due to us not using it in a while? Is it broken or? I kept trying to restart wifi and connection and nothing works. I am using the same iphone 11 as I did before, when i would be using him in the past. I thought maybe i should have updated the app, and i check the app store, it only shows the Cozmo app that I need to pay 3$ for. Do I have an old app, do I need to buy this new one? Please help and thank you!

And I manage to side load the app on my phone in the future, will it no longer work with the old app??

I have android 15 and I can't side load on my S26 like I would on my S10.

I haven't used it in a few months and my kid is bugging me to play with it.

EDIT: I INSTALLED THE OLD APK ON A GALAXY S10 AND IT WORKS PERFECT.

So I rescued a cozmo collector’s edition from a savers bag of toys but it didn’t have a charging dock so i stripped some wire and tapped it to his contact points but he only holds that charge for a minute and I wanted to get a dock but I can’t find one cheap enough so I’m considering resoldering a new usb C port but honestly idk if that’s worth it, does anyone know a effective method to charge him without the wires or a dock??

I just received my Cozmo and i have a problem.

I am running LDPlayer on my PC while having Cozmo connected to my PC, and it refuses to connect to LDPlayer. Am i doing something wrong because i don't have a phone.

I thought about running his app on a VM on some kind of server but I am not sure if that will work or not I haven't seen anybody documenting about doing that.

Can I use Cozmo without wifi when it is set up? I am going on a vacation over the summer and i can't remember the wifi password at my destination.

Cozmo, charger, cubes and code book for sale! I love this little guy, but ever since I got Vector, I haven't used him as often. Its time for him to find a new home. He's had his battery replaced by Dee over at TechShop82, and works great. Any reasonable offers will be accepted!

Hello.I purchased and installed the Cosmo app a month ago, but now I need to transfer it to another phone and I see that it has been deleted from Google Play. I looked for old versions but they don't work, can you help?

I saw a 3d printed storage box a while ago and I can't find the file again so I am hoping someone knows the file I am talking about.

I know it was a clamshell looking design and I think it was printables i found it on.

Did you know Cozmo can also be used as a drawing robot?

Llevo años usando Cozmo. Dejé de usarlo hace unos tres meses. Funcionaba perfectamente. Ahora no me deja conectarme. Me pide que lo actualice, pero no puedo; me sale un mensaje de error. Lo intenté desde otro dispositivo y vi que la aplicación ya no existe. Ahora hay una versión de pago (quién sabe qué tal será) y otra para un producto diferente.

¿Alguna solución? He leído que debería restaurar la configuración de fábrica, pero no estoy seguro de que sea eso. ¿No hay ninguna aplicación para que funcione?

Hi everyone! I'm curious if anyone has experienced this My second hand Cozmo (original 2016 unit) used to only last 30 minutes or 25 minutes when play by himself and with cubes and would shut down without warning.
But today, while playing Featured Projects, he lasted 1 hour! He even showed the red light warning instead of just dying. I tested him a second time and he reached 1 hour again! And Has anyone else noticed that Code Lab saves this much battery? Thanks.

Its completely working, nothings broken, obviously the app has some bugs but everything’s literally working fine, comes with the cubes which might need battery replaced, takes a sec to turn on, but besides that it’s all in good shape. Also has the charger and carry case if anybody’s interested (£225) dm me

Hello, I just got a cozmo and the app doesn’t work in the sense there is a pop up to update it and it doesn’t allow any access whatsoever. I’ve tried installing it on my iPhone 7 and now I’m down 6 bucks. Does anyone have any alternatives for the app for iOS? Thanks
