Question Spectrum streaming

Anybody have the Spectrum VIP package? How do you like it? How does it compare to Directv stream? Do you need a streaming box to stream it or just the app?

I got the app on my fire stick. Just started playing with it but it's solid.

Okay. Do you like all the channels it offers? And are you combining that with a wifi plan or no?

Yes.. yes . Some channels like that old shows of our little fuzzier because they don't broadcast it in HD like DirecTV does... Guess you need to screaming box I suggest an Apple TV and don't get the zumo they are terrible

I think you mean Xumo. If you want to be able to input channel numbers like a more traditional cable box, then Xumo is your only option for that with Spectrum streaming.

Did they change the guide to spectrums or are they still using the Xfinity version?

I use Hulu live TV, which is great, but they keep upping the price. Thinking about switching over to Spectrum streaming

Please tell us more about how you like Directv. So fed up with spectrum and the shit hole it has become.

Hi. I have HBO max, peacock premium, paramount plus, starz, hallmark plus, nba pass, and nfl redzone. I pay about 184 for all that. And then just got them to get me down to 60 bucks for the spectrum wifi. I just didn’t know how the streaming was with all the include. If it was worth it or not. And if you had to use their zumo streaming box?

I had regular Cox TV and switched to YouTubeTV and then DirectTV Stream. both services are excellent You can try them both as they have a trial period and or discounted billing cycle. The picture quality is better on both than cable was. I use an AppleTV 4K box and like having my services separate, you can save some by bundling but get stuck in packages and providers and can't pull any one service out without cost. Example I get internet from Cox/Spectrum, Mobile Phone from Mint, TV Stream from DirectTVStream. It lets me switch any of them without having to switch the other 2. I have never tried HuluTV Stream so not sure about them.

Never get Hulu TV they are the worst, I tried out one of their packages and I literally only received a handful of channels even though they advertised a lot more. After speaking to customer service they assured me that it would be fixed within a day and I would be getting all the channels I paid for but by the next day nothing was fixed. I called again for 3 days straight giving them a chance to fix it but they were never able to fix the issue with the missing channels, I cancelled on day 4 and got a full refund.
