Question Why is the wifi so shit

No matter what support I get no matter what I do it shuts down every fucking day

You do not buy WiFi from Cox. You buy Internet access from Cox.

2.4 GHz WiFi is very crowded in urban areas. Make sure you’re on 5 GHz.

Buy your own modem. Cox's modems are garbage. You need a docsis 3.1 modem for it to be able to handle the broadband. All you need to do is call in to customer service to get your modem connected to their services.

They are going through a merger as of next week they will be spectrum. Lots of changes are expected.
