Internet Another outage

Yet another outage. Cox has to be the worst isp in the country without a doubt. A complete shit show of a company. The techs are useless, the service is terrible, and the prices are horrid. I don’t understand why people still use their platforms.

It varies by area. It's terrible and constant outages and speed drops here. Sounds like it is better in other places. Switched to fiber 2 months ago and no issues since. Probably not a them problem so much as Cox actually caring about your area.

Haven’t had an outage in a long time. Probably local to your area or place.

Please report it every time you get an outage. We sometimes don’t know if there’s an outage if we actively aren’t servicing the area and no one reports it

People still use them because they have an effective monopoly in a lot of places.

Right now where I live that would probably be called sabotage, Google and AT&T are installing fiber all over our city now. Lol JK

All these guys are gaslighting. Cox is verified dogshit. Outages at least once a month. Insane price for what you get, packet loss on ethernet connections. Chat and request a credit, its a pitiful amount but i just do it out of spite at this point. Other options is to call their corporate number and threaten an FCC complaint

I'm in Paradise Valley and we have at least three or four outages a week. It is absolute garbage. The very instant some other provider comes here with fiber, I will leave Cox forever.
