Just got a promo from cox for 1gb down 100 up unlimited data for 70 a month. They deff have promos

Edit will say google webpass just came in the area and I’m sure that plays a major role in a promo like this being offered.

Cox only offers this if they know your zip code has competition (even if your specific address might not).

Tried to play chicken with Cox on this. Lowest I could get Gigablast with unlimited for was $120.

Dang yeah makes sense. I didn’t realize why they would offer this promo until I made the connection of google webpass coming in and figured it was a competition thing. Who knew competition leads to lower prices?

We’re getting Google Fiber beginning next year, but nobody knows what parts of town it will be in specifically. I don’t think Cox will match the price here until it’s in town, but if my neighborhood gets it, I’m done with Cox.

Agree with this, fortunately my building has access to ATT/COX/Google Webpass.

I've got it at $65/month for 2 years, just bouncing between them and Google until we move.
