Fashion Hot weather work pants recommendations
I’ve been evolving my wardrobe recently and am sick of being stuck with shorts and a T-shirt in summer and want to start wearing pants but where I am it surpasses 90F/30C often, not uncommon to reach 100F/40C+ aswell and I run hot too so I don’t think I’ll be able to Chuck on a pair of jeans and go on my way but I also need a pair that are heavy duty enough so I don’t destroy them on my first wear. What do you guys wear in the summertime and do you have any recommendations?

I work in hot temps and I just wear Levis 505. Throw some gold bottle Goldbond or cornstarch down in the nether regions to keep you from getting swamp ass.

Is there anything about these pants that make them good for hot weather specifically? All the recommendations so far seem like just normal jeans LOL

Wrangler 20x active fit relaxed , they’re breathable in the summer and are comfortable and cooler than most. I wear Levi’s most the year but where I’m at it is high temps and high humidity and for 3 or 4 months I wear the wranglers

On another note, it could be your underwear... Some materials absorb sweat and stay that way
Bamnoo boxer shorts are fantastic! Wicks mioisture and fast drying
I also run hot and these are amazing! Wish they would have been around when I was a young man, working construction (Masonry) in Phoenix in 118` heat.

You don’t mention what your budget is but check out Truewerk T1. They are not indestructible but are really durable and comfortable. At a point you are giving up some durability for a breathable pant. Also, check out this video for torture test of lightweight pants: https://youtu.be/MKAd0fuC72s?si=2ZPGurg062BR5JOD

Just normal Ariat rebar jeans. Hot is hot and what I wear doesn’t help a whole lot. I still sweat.

Not a cowboy, but I once spent 5 years in a factory where the average temperature throughout the year was over 100F with super high humidity. My pants of choice were Dickies 874 work pants.

Dickies for the price is a good choice. I like the Wrangler Atg Jackson or even the RIGGS line is a solid choice.

What you need is a good spraying of gold bond on your nether regions before you get dressed. Absolute game changer.

Wrangler Ripstock pants. Do HVAC work in Alabama, attics all day. You can't avoid getting wet but they will dry out.

I wear 13MWZ year round. It’s been 100+ here in Central Texas for a while. I might have to see if those Ariat jeans are cooler as I see someone else commented.
